2023-02-21 01:21:06 +0000 UTCthis is criston’s fault in my opinion. sure she initiated the hookup, or hookups, but he agreed to it and wanted it. he expected her to throw her whole life away: her title as future queen, her dragon, her home, her family, and her money. and then he took his anger out on someone who didn’t truly deserve it. in my opinion the way he acted was incredibly selfish and violent and i really dislike him. i knew i would already because of fire and blood but this is just next level.

2023-02-17 07:11:31 +0000 UTCDaemon is one of the greatest characters ever written within this universe in my opinion. He's George R R Martin's favorite Targaryen and for very good reason. I also do not think Daemon truly wants the crown, if he did that man would've taken it a long time ago...he's proven time and time again that he's willing to do whatever needs to be done. I also agree with Alyssa that I don't necessarily think Daemon went there with the intent to kill Lady Rhea but after everything happened he was like fuck it might as well. The guy that fought through the crowd is Ser Harwin "Breakbones" Strong and is the strongest knight in the Kingdom. He fought through the crowd to get Rhaenyra to prevent her from being trampled to death (since her sworn protector was too busy beating Joffrey to death)

I don't think it's necessarily even a matter of "she can't" because she easily could,it's that she doesn't want to at least not with him. For example, she was ready to run off with Daemon at the wedding, basically daring him to steal her away. I think Criston is in my top 5 least favorite characters in the entire game of thrones universe.

Also i believe he killed Joffrey cause joffrey kinda subtly hinted that he knew his secret and as long as he didnt talk about him and Laenor then he wouldnt talk either. It was stupid of him to say anything at all but he didnt deserve to die over it. As far as Daemon idk if he went to runestone with the plan to kill his wife. The horse probably smelled the dragon on him and got spooked. If you look back at that scene Daemon was actually trying to calm the horse. But when he saw she was paralyzed and still talking shit he was like fuck it lol and the show runners said that Viserys has some form of leprasy disease thats why his arm was all messed up and his fingers were turning black.
