Ellaria Sand is a bastard, i.e. her father and mother where not married, thats why her surname is Sand. Every kingdom has its own surname for bastards. In Dorne they are called Sand, whereas in the North they are called Snow. Dorne, however, is the only kingdom where they don't look down on bastards. In the other kingdoms bastards are definitely looked down uppon, just remember how Jon is treated outside his family.

2021-11-13 23:58:53 +0000 UTCEllaria is a bastard, a Sand. So yes, pretty much anywhere in Westeros, besides Dorne, it is looked down on. Bastards aren't quite considered lowborn, because to be a bastard of noble birth (having a surname) one parent has to be noble.

2021-11-13 06:40:21 +0000 UTCBran isn’t in this season because all he’s doing is training to hone his abilities, and I guess they thought it would be boring or couldn’t come up with enough interesting things to do with him. Even though I can think of a few. But I digress. Stannis sent away Davos away was all about the sacrifice, there was no way in hell Davos would have stood around and let that happen. He would have had to be killed while he fights his way through to try and save Shireen. When you said “I have no more tears for this show” I was like 😐. And I don’t blame you for crying for Drogon getting hurt. The show does a good job and making you care for the dragons, they do feel like Dany’s children. This is definitely one of my favourite episodes. Watching Dany climb on Drogon is such a hype moment like “Shit is about to get real.”
