Regarding your point on Cersei though, whilst you do see a change it is also interesting to see the three people she spoke to this episode are the judges for Tyrion's trial if you remember. She's asking Margaery to speak to her father Mace and getting on her good side with that by telling her about being Queen and relating the conversation to Joffrey. Also agreeing to a marriage to Loras thus getting the Tyrells back on side for the trial. She spoke to her father Tywin, guilting him into thinking about what Tyrion actually brings to the Lannister legacy and then the last judge Oberyn she played very much a mother in pain to help gain his support. Whilst her conversations were somewhat true they did have an alterior motive too which isn't easy to catch sometimes.
