Production: April '21

Hi all,

A few thoughts before we jump into another month..

Mono HQ Is Moving
This turn of events is as unexpected for me as it is for you. Due to circumstances beyond my control I have no choice but to leave my current base of operations and set up somewhere new. This problem has come out of the blue, and unfortunately time is not on my side.

Worst case scenario, I am anticipating by the end of next week (around April 9th) I'll be unable to continue with my typical releases for a while. I will still be able to create, thankfully, so content I've teased here on Patreon, and commissions from private individuals, will still continue on in the background. I hope I can to continue releasing content at relatively regular intervals, but I can't guarantee anything.

Removing 'Comics' From Branding
In hindsight, it was a mistake to ever add this to my watermark. Following through on my 'more standalone images' intentions, I feel it's the right time to remove it.

'Lore', Timelines, etc
Sometimes I continue a plotline from something I made earlier, sometimes I say to hell with it, here's a kinky game show. I may break any sense of continuity between my releases at any time. This is just a reminder for anyone new around here.

To wrap up, I would say something like 'hopefully things will return to normal soon here at HQ', however I'm not quite sure what normal is anymore in regards to my output. It's all a little messy, and I think it's a result of trying to please everyone. My latest release, featuring Brooke, is the most enjoyable thing I've made in a while, and it's because I made it without consideration for how it would be received. I'm going to use this down time while moving as an opportunity to reconsider the direction I want to move in, to create things I enjoy rather than what I think is going to sell the most. It may not even be sustainable, but I'll try.
