Postponing a bit again ugh

Damn!

If you're over 30, please tell me - does everyone's life turn into some kind of endless struggle with heath issues as soon as they come to their 30s? I'm tired of the fact that a half of my income goes to medicine every month >:(

I wanted to send out the archives today and post another vote, but I just don't have a possibility to make the finishing touches today, I apologize a lot!.. >< Everything should be ready within a day!

I think that is perfectly normal. My life is a wreck right now. For sure

32 and I feel that to my core, it's both debilitating and demoralising. I wish you didn't have to go through that, please hang in there!!

Your health comes first. Don't worry about it :3

Alethila

Best wishes to you! (I'm also a bit envy, you exparienced 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s in America, those decades seem so nice to me)

Iskra

Yeah it seems like life in Georgia changed things a lot or it was just a coincidence haha

Fix as many health issues as you can before 40-45. Any you don't address grow exponentially once you hit the mid 40s. We didn't evolve for mid-age comfort. Just young age procreation. Once old enough, evolution no longer thinks the person is reproductively viable, and casts us aside.

As some who is 40+ years old I can tell you that there are seasons of bad health and seasons of ok-ish health. The trick is to never give up, never ever. Dont let your health issues define you. Also you have the support of all of us... You are a great artist who deserve happiness. Dont give up, Iskra!

There are metabolisms that are stronger than others, people over 60 in good health and, unfortunately, children with serious illnesses :( but I think that mental health also plays an important role in physical state. you have to try to be positive and always move forward, it may not be easy but it allows you to relieve yourself and hurt yourself less. hold on Iskra, we are with you.

I've wondered the same thing many times. Im going to be 33 this year and I can say a lot of problems stared after turned 30 but I was very sickly my whole childhood. Lifestyle, genetics, and environment play a huge role in ones health. I exercise and make all my own food, that helps more then one would think. Luckily I never drank, smoked or did anything fun so I got the best out come I could with my genes. For me my teeth were always flawless until I turned 30 and then I started having problems, cavities and gum recession. Stress is a big factor and learning healthy coping methods is so important. I really hope things improve for you, I think you push yourself too hard. We are here for you!

well heart failure isn't so bad i guess. πŸ˜… i expect i'll seem fine and then just fall over dead one day. it's a bitter silver lining.

iamzid

No apologies necessary, I hope things improve for you ⭐

Breefcase

Yup, mine skips every 4th beat. I'm 40.

i'm 37 now and it is true that getting old sucks. at some point in my early 30's my hair started falling out, my back started hurting, and more worrisome than that i've developed some sort of strange heart beat. i went to the doctor for it and they told me "you're young and strong, you'll be okay". so even though my chest hurts i don't go back there because they just charge me large amounts of money while laughing behind my back. still i do what i can with what i have and try my best to be happy. there's no point in worrying about things that i can't control.

Depends on the person, their genetics and their behaviors/environment. Our health tends to get more interesting as we get older, but thirty is pretty young to have that many issues come out. My health issues started coming in my 40s and 50s. I wonder if some of the issues involve changes to your environment after moving to Georgia, and the stress that has been coming your way during that time. I hope things continue to settle down and get better.

Darwinskeeper

I mean, to be honest, I'm only 27 and have had medical issues on and off for the last few years or so. Certianly not excited to get older. Lol. Although my issues are not nearly as drastic as what you've been experiencing. It sucks, but gotta do the best we can to find reasons to smile when in the face of despair. We believe in you, Iskra! Just go at your own pace.

Despite what most people lead you to believe, you're not young anymore. Yes being 30 means you're no spring chicken anymore. Technically our bodies stop developing at 25. Women's reproductive systems start to break down at 30. For men, they're past their physical prime, and T rate goes down. I forget the data on how max heart rate goes down linearly over time. Roughly speaking from 195 bpm at age 18, you go down to 190 at age 25, to 185 at age 30, 180 at age 35, 175 at age 40, and so on. I'm turning 29 this month (same birth month as you uwu), and I'm already having energy and low T problems.

Depends on the health issue. Mine is if you don't solve in your 30s, you'll get into trouble in 40-50s. Guess, what is getting ignored. Also, you seem to be very productive: comics, commissions and own character art all at once. Don't overwork yourself, it certainly won't be good for health. πŸ’œ

I'm 40 and dealing with high blood pressure. I noticed around 30-35 I'd little aches and pains from sleeping weird. It's tough at times getting older but I appreciate you giving us a heads up that you might be a little behind. I know it's hard but try not to stress about it since that will only make things worse. We're here for you and a little delay is not the end of the world.

Rox79

No you're just incredibly unlucky. There are 70 year olds who can jog and live life just fine. And there are 11 year olds who die of cancer. I'm really sorry to hear it's getting to be alot. I am starting to feel the same so, you're not alone. If that helps.

I will only say that we wish you the best Iskra, we are patient because without you we would not have the beauty that you share with us every month ⭐

I have a brother who is 34 just turned yesterday, today sick to his stomach but everything is a little better, generally he has had battles but he has overcome everything

I’m 36 and there are times when I’ve gone through the same thing, Iskra. Sometimes I’m so burned out by everything, that I β€œjust can’t even” sometimes. Just have to hang on and make it through another day. I promise that for every bad day, there’s always a good day right around the corner. Hang in there, sweetheart! You can do anything! ❀️☺️❀️

Late-30s checking in. Had had a sinus infection for weeks, then when I’m getting better, my wife gets the same infection. Also, I think the anthem of the 30s is β€œow, my back.”

35 and its mostly stress induced

It just happens sometimes. You have ups and downs. I'm 34 and it's been that way.
