July Update on Everything!

Hiya, folks!

July has been a big crunch month for us, so we wanted to give y'all an update on how various projects are coming along, as well as what you can expect to see coming soon.

Game 2

We'll be announcing Game 2 soon!! Like, in less-than-a-week soon. We want to keep it mostly under wraps until then, but here's some incredibly spoiler free details:

• Patrons in the alpha tester tier will get to play a demo on announce day. The demo will be between 5 and 15 minutes long for a single playthrough, but there's a lot of variation in it, probably in the realm of 2 hours or so if you explore everything. The demo will be available to the general public in October!
• It's fully voice acted, and we're working with some very cool people to bring these new characters to life.

Scarlet Hollow

The script for Episode 4 is days away from being done, and it is a long one. A single playthrough is probably going to be about as long as Episodes 2 and 3 combined, with, of course, a lot of extra room for multiple playthroughs. We're working hard to try and get it out on Halloween, but as always, there's a chance we might have to delay things a bit depending on how quickly we're able to move through development. Our best guess is that the first alpha build will be ready in mid-to-late August.

The Last Halloween

I'm still working on The Last Halloween! Given how many other projects we have going on right now, I decided it would be better to slowly build up a backlog rather than sporadically post an update once in a blue moon, both for my readers as well as for my own ability to enjoy working on it. I've always loved giving people nice hefty chunks to read all at once, so I'm saving up pages to be able to do so once our other projects have wrapped up.

Once Scarlet Hollow is finished, I'm going to work exclusively on The Last Halloween until the series is complete.
