OUR NEXT BOOK

It actually started as a feature script I wrote back in 2021, and it’s insanely funny. Actually developed it with Chernin (Planet of the Apes movies) We ended up having this long, honest conversation about the entertainment industry, the waiting, the frustration and all the ideas I’ve got just sitting on a shelf collecting dust.
And we finally said: screw it. Let’s just make something with the contacts we have.
But not something heavy. Not something precious.
Something fun.
Something that gets us back in the groove.
The story for this one is already done we just need to translate it into book form, which honestly won’t take long at all. And yeah… you’re getting it for FREE.
After that, we’re looking at turning The Lion’s Blaze and/or Thereafter into books too. Not graphic novels, I need a break from that. I’m just done waiting around. This isn’t the path I thought I’d be on but it is the path I’m walking forward on for now.
Forward As Always is getting a pin in it for now. It’s dense, it’s big, and after finishing the Final Space graphic novel, I need a breather from sci-fi. But hold onto that book. It’s the first edition, the very first book we ever wrote. That one matters.

I recall this being a PILOT EPISODE or at least a pitch of it for a project that was in the works during the FINAL SPACE days. How much will it differ from the early draft?

This isn’t the path I thought I’d be on but it is the path I’m walking forward on for now. Hmmm, interesting. Are you thinking of bringing in an author from the litrpg or Progression Fantasy genre? It's the natural expression of the Lion’s Blaze concept and they've been reasonably popular the last few years. I've read a couple and they can be a ton of fun, especially with the self-aware comedy we saw in the pilot.
