Meaning this may not be 100% a thing she wants to do. I mean, I’m sure she enjoys it and enjoys the attention considering her apparent lack of options. But I get the feeling from this page that if she had better options, and if it wasn’t for grades, she wouldn’t be with him.

While it shows that Olivia isn’t doing anything deliberately against them, or anything that affects or inconveniences them at all, it does show that her constant admiration affect them. This page shows the affect that has on at least one of them, and the reasons behind it.

A lot of writers just start and stop at "this character antagonizes the protagonist" which is all well and good, but in a story like this, it does help to give them a bit more dimension. Hell, I almost fell into this trap myself when writing.
