Bucking the System - Poll Results!

The results for the Patreon poll were: 166 Yes, 33 No, with 199 votes total.
Additionally, my Twitter poll resulted in 94% Yes, 6% No, with 206 votes total.
So, yeah... looks like you guys want a Bucking the System sequel! The jackal booty beckons.
Dragon Cobolt and I have come up with a concept for a sequel. It'd be set months later, not feature Ezra, and would involve Pat adjusting to being a new hire at the magazine he sent his BTS story to. We'd see Night and Pat try new things, and also have a few returning faces from the first book.
If you any comments or suggestions of what you'd like to see in the story, please feel free to leave them below, or private message me if you feel more comfortable that way. We want to address some of the issues from the first book, and expand on things people want to see more of.
**A reminder that I'm not actually writing this book, but I'll be an ideas guy, and a proofreader for it. I will do some art for it too. I want to do interior illustrations this time around!

2019-03-19 21:11:47 +0000 UTCWasn't a Fan of the book, simple because I felt like pat was left out of the loop. I would like to see him be in a bit more control of what happens. Like he gives Nightshade a list of things he wants to try out. Of course Night should also have some input as one of if not the biggest thing in a relationship is communication.

2019-03-17 19:07:51 +0000 UTCAlthough I do understand that it is not some peoples favorite thing I myself and I am sure some others enjoyed the cuckholding portions of the story and I would love to see at least some in the sequal! I also mainly enjoyed the aspect of Night praising the bull more so then the bull belittling Pat. That teasing element was what I really loved about it.

Some of my fav moments in the first book were their downtime scenes, so I’d be keen to see more day-to-day stuff. And yeah, I could see more variety in femdom stuff being a thing, for sure!

Purely so it doesn’t get stale and since you did mention they were going to try new things. Or even something as mundane as them discussing safewords in case Pat gets his limits pushed too hard. I’m not suggesting have that happen since you probably wanna keep it more light in tone. But in my experience showing the trust through a conversation like that can get readers even more invested in the relationship. Assuming of course there wasn’t already something like that in the first book which I admit I don’t remember very well.

2019-03-17 00:13:44 +0000 UTCIt was way worse in the original. I heavily edited down the way Buck talked down to Pat. I prefer more teasing dirty talk like how Night does it. More comparing the bull favourably instead of harsh belittling.

2019-03-17 00:12:48 +0000 UTCI understand that, and it’s fun too but it also felt as if Buck was belittling Pat a bit too much, that’s what made it hard to read for me. I know he was just acting. If possible can it be a little less of the putting down?

2019-03-16 23:52:06 +0000 UTCThe cucking stuff is how to work in Night's femdom element. I wouldn't say the story would be 100% cuck stuff. Even the first BTS had a partner swap scene of sorts. But this is good to know! I don't want the story to just be a retread of the first one, so if readers want things more varied, that's important feedback!

2019-03-16 23:42:06 +0000 UTCThat book was a fun read near the end, but the beginning seemed hard to read. Mainly because it felt as though Pat wasn’t as lucky. Maybe more sex scenes with him can happen in the foreseeable future. But I think I’m being bias seeing as cucking feels a bit messed up in this situation. I know everyone was fine with it, and Nightshade wants what’s best for Pat(in her own way) but I can’t help but feel like Pat got the shorter end of the stick.
