Important December Update! Plans, Schedules, etc.!
Added 2015-12-23 20:24:40 +0000 UTCHey everyone, got some stuff I want to talk about, plans and things!
A) Back Catalogue
A lot of people have asked me if they can get prior months' stuff. I'm implementing a back catalogue where if you have at least $100 in patreon support for my page, you will be given access to all prior patreon updates for the past year, except PSD (photoshop file) packs. I'd like to know if you would prefer those updates as monthly packs, or one big pack.
B) Commission Tier
I'm still planning on adding a sketch commission tier, but I want to figure out what I have time for before adding it. I get so many requests for commissions that I just don't have time for, I wish I could accommodate everyone but it's just a matter of workload vs time X3
C) Comic Plans
The Pleasure Principle's first chapter will be 32 pages, and we'll be finished with 24 of those pages this month. The remaining 8 pages are being inked, and if we keep to the same schedule, the chapter will be done in February. I'll likely take a short break from it to properly plan out the next chapter afterwards.
The past few weeks, I've been working diligently on Londoners. I've gotten the first chapter sketched up and dialogue done. However, I'm working myself to the point of exhaustion trying to get it ready for launch this month, and the webpage for it is not ready yet, so I'm going to launch it next year.
Now here's the deal. On my own, I'm only able to get a certain number of pages done a month without hurting my health. Pacing it at 4 pages a month really is better for me, but if I have both the Olivia and Londoners comics going side-by-side, it's going to be too much for me to double my workload.
I have a few options here, and I'd like your input on them:
1) I finish up the Olivia chapter in February, and then start up Londoners in March. Get 4 pages done that month, and then make Londoners and TPP chapter 2 both bi-weekly (2 pages each story per month, starting in April).
2) I start Londoners in January, but I scale back on Olivia updates so that I'm not overworking myself. This means I would make each comic bi-weekly starting January, and if I take a break for the Olivia story to prep the second chapter, I'll compensate with more Londoners pages for that time.
I'm considering adding new milestone tiers where I would increase the number of comic pages per month, but I would use the additional income to hire Kaylii to ink and base colour both comics, to help me get the pages out faster. My back issues that I've been suffering from for years have been exasperated the past few weeks trying to marathon work on Londoners for a late Dec launch, and so I'm realising I can only handle this workload if I can hire help XD
I also want to do more porn side comics, especially one about Puz and Sebastian, and another about Nightshade talking about her history as a dominatrix. I also want to do Olivia comics that detail some smutty side adventures in her school. There's so much I want to do, but I don't have the time! Ahhh! XD
So, I've made a poll below. Vote and let me know what you want to do with the future schedule!

I'm sure they could if they really wanted to X3

2015-12-29 04:00:07 +0000 UTCCan't someone just pledge $100 for one month and then get the back catalog as soon as the payment clears? Then back it down for the next month?

2015-12-29 03:27:14 +0000 UTCYeah that's pretty much my feelings on it too. It's more of a 'you've been supporting the patreon for a long time, so here's the back catalogue as thanks'. If people are only interested in grabbing certain content from specific months, then they can just use the webstore (once I upload the prior months' packs on there, cough cough >.>)

2015-12-26 07:14:50 +0000 UTCTo put my 2 cents in... $100 seems fair. Honestly, if people want content in a lesser price point, then that's where your latenightgrind small packs come from. Entitlement for small amounts of money of someone else's work is a problem many people don't realize. It takes time and money to put out things like this. Besides, it's only an idea of time. It's not like we have to pay $100 up front. *shrugs*

2015-12-25 23:22:55 +0000 UTCYeah, one thing I've really been focusing on this comic is the background elements and number of characters per page. This has definitely been the most dense comic I've done yet X3

2015-12-24 07:19:49 +0000 UTCI have one from a few years ago I sketched out and never continued on. I might resurrect it ;3

2015-12-24 07:18:24 +0000 UTCAs far as the comics are concerned, I say do what you feel is best, but don't try to crank out too much too fast. If you try to rush things, or do too much too fast, you risk your work suffering a loss of quality. Personally, I don't mind waiting for updates. I'd rather see slow updates with great quality (both artistic and story based) then see regular updates from a grinder that seem forced and rushed. Also, still hope to see some Puz/Pat again in the future. :D

2015-12-24 00:16:49 +0000 UTCI feel it would be unfair to those who have been longtime suppporters if someone new paid for a month and got all the content they got, too. I thought the $100 might be a fair price for roughly a year's worth of payments to access all previous content. This is a system several others are using as well. While a big chunk of the content gets posted publicly later, it seems you might be more interested in getting comics/folios and art packs off my webstore, instead of getting access to a patreon-focused back catalogue.

2015-12-24 00:06:43 +0000 UTCActually, alternative question, what would you want to just "buy" the back catalog? As an option for us cheap-skates that can't really afford to pledge $10/30 a month but don't want to wait.

2015-12-23 23:13:26 +0000 UTCI like the idea with the back-catalog... but I'm a $5 a month backer,, to get the back catalog I'd need to wait 20 months. I'm far more likely to just cancel my subscription and say to heck with it... I back a lot of patreons and it's only the two furry art ones that don't just have the entire backlog posted to the list. I understand why you're doing it (the fake backers, the ones that sign up for a week and then go away before their first payment clears), but that doesn't make it less frustrating. If I have to wait 20 months... good riddance! How about something more reasonable like a backer-level appropriate backlog after 3-5 months? I was planning on asking about this in March, once I'd been backing you for a while, but lacking a satisfactory response I'll just cut my losses (that is not something I want to do!)

2015-12-23 22:53:25 +0000 UTCOoh, Puz & Sebastian are in SERIOUS need of some love and lovely action! Considering Coffee Meet was all in Seb's head, they've only had the occasional appearance in one-off pieces. So it'd make my Christmas if you did a dedicated comic for both of them...and make it really happen this time! ;)

2015-12-23 22:47:22 +0000 UTCI like the idea of receiving past stuff, it's a great idea~ As for the comics I'd say that I much prefer something that got started to be finished before new stuff comes in. So I'd vote for finishing up with Olivia's before going for Londoners.

2015-12-23 21:52:10 +0000 UTCYeah, once you reached $100 in cumulative payments, then I would give you access to the past stuff.

2015-12-23 20:39:41 +0000 UTCFor A I have only pledged $60 so far $70 at the end of a the month. So are you saying when we reach $100 you will send past stuff?
