Thoughts

Of course I wouldn't do this unless it was a REALLY good deal, I'm trained as a computer technician, so in most cases it would be cheaper to build from scratch.
The reason I'm mentioning this at all is because of a Black Friday item I was eyeing that I chickened out on, it was a top, TOP of the line prebuilt computer for a thousand dollars, down from, IDK, 3 or 4 thousand. Buying that would've wrecked the budget here, as well as my IRL bank account, but dang was that a great deal for an incredible computer!
I'm pretty sure I'm glad I didn't do it, though, going that close to bankruptcy is definitely a no-go, and my motorcycle needs an oil change and a tune-up pretty soon.
Anyway, TL;DR: if, IF I see a GREAT discount on an incredible prebuilt computer, I'll likely jump that gun to make sure all of my components are powerful, new and fresh.
(Side note: my CPU fan is still chugging along and CPU temps are still fine. No worry.)
