This page have 2 panels in honor to art that I like, then I want show a little of it :)

This page seems simple but it had plans during the process, including two references to one of the artists I most admire in professional animation, Hiroyuki imaishi.

In the third panel we can see an interesting pose, let's see the reference that was used for this:

Reference Series: KillLaKill - Trigger

Oh yes, using the stronger body in KLK for apreciate the elasticity effect. I had this reference looking in my cellphone while I was drawing in the tablet and there is many differences when I finished my sketch haha, the head size, muscles, even in the pose was some different, King Kong doesn't seem to be so crouched compared to Ira Gamagori.

A great cover of the Giant Green.

Hulk always will be a reference for my gorillas about size in muscles, and this reference is in honor to the mix of Hulk with other giant style of imaishi. Well, I think the main reason for the differences is the way the Hulk want to throw themselves down the ground, while King Kong is jumping up before he falls.
