The Gentle Barn is located in an area with high risk of wildfires. Living in LA, I’m constantly keeping the LA Times’ California wildfire map open in Firefox mobile. Last year my partner’s coworker’s house burned down and my professor lost a house that he’d designed for his brother to wildfire. It’s more important than ever to talk about climate change on the main channel and actions we can take to hold companies accountable for their carbon footprint. Please do an episode about single-use plastics: their material sourced from oil and natural gas and shale, their limited life cycle, and inevitable destination in the landfill (which eventually includes all recycled plastic too).

We got to meet all of these animals on Zoom and ask the caretaker questions. It was so sweet I highly recommend anyone who enjoyed this to look into their virtual tours.
