2025-05-06 07:42:18 +0000 UTCI re-watched Peter Jackson's documentary 'They Shall Not Grow Old' as it's been a few years. He took a bunch of surviving World War 1 footage and had a team clean it up and colorise it. You also get to hear WW1 soldiers recount their experiences from achived audio. I'm a nerd for that kind of shit. With regards to finding those films that trigger a train of thought or a memory, I do that a fair bit too lol. It's a cool train to be on sometimes when it's a fond memory but other times it's just a fucking nuisance 😂. That's my personal experience with it anyway. I appreciate you being real.
