OMG I love how into it everyone got! I wish that I could have played with dinosaurs, hot wheels, and Queasy Bake as a kid :p I had an American Girl doll as a kid, and seeing Zach as Molly is something i now cannot unsee XD I love how they gave the barbies and the Lol Surprise dolls detailed backstories <3 There's a book called "William's Doll" that I read when I was a kid about a boy who played with a doll and everyone made fun of him but he just wanted to be a good dad ;-;

Reborn dolls are more collectors items than everyday toys. If you look at their website you can see they have some beautiful dolls. I wish I had some of the pictures handy so I could post them but in my house growing up we had a large collection of dolls which both my parents collected. Everything from old antique ones (some with real human hair) to modern (at the time) ones. A few years after my grandmother who was living with us passed away my mother turned her bedroom into a doll room, with some dolls having a tea party, some being a ‘school’ setting, some ‘playing’ with other toys. She would change things around from time to time when she felt like it. Or to freak someone out over the dolls seeming to have moved on their own. (Yes, she actually did do that!)
