Her schedule might be too full at the moment to add another show. I also don’t think it’s entirely necessary, I don’t think the two shows necessarily rely on each other enough to warrant watching them together. In order to get caught up with Torchwood she would have to watch all of season 1 before starting Doctor Who series 4, then watch season 2 and series 4 together. I feel like focusing on the base show makes more sense. Torchwood can always be watched later and Doctor Who doesn’t spoil anything about it that casual viewers will remember.

2025-08-11 14:30:51 +0000 UTCWatching your reaction to this episode made me think only one thing, you need to watch Torchwood alongside doctor who next year. It’s is what Angel is to Buffy. There are some crossovers too. The seasons aren’t as long as Buffy/Angel so it wouldn’t even take you that long. Just my opinion. The Master is a classic Who villain and what I would consider probably his greatest foe that isn’t made of metal. This episode really hits. This season has some bangers.
