Dev Notes - 2025-05-04 - New animation, done!

Hey folks, I was happy to finish an animation. I purchased one but often the appendages end up flailing all over the place. So, i did some research and got a product called LimbStick which allows me to essentially glue certain parts to other parts, so they don't move around during animations. It worked brilliantly! Unfortunately, it took me the best part of the week to install it because the automation installation does not work. Just, it can never be a slam dunk. Regardless, this is another excellent tool in my tool box to help with future animations. I could even possibly use it to make my own fully customized animations, but I am trying to use off the shelf ones as the base, then modify/fix accordingly.

So, the animation rendered yesterday, probably going to queue up some other views of it. Tonight, I am going to stitch together what I have, see what I need to still do, write it out, and then finish that. With what I have, I am going to say next weekend for definite release to Patreons.

Iv'e been working really hard on this guys. I know it has been wayyy too long, but almost there. I really think this branching has been a nightmare and lesson definitely learned. I may remove all branching and just, you can either take the offered encounter or not.

What do you all think about scenes where I literally replace one LI with another? Does it come off as cheap or lazy, or do you appreciate the fact that likely one of your favorite LIs will be an available option?

Comments

I think its a good idea to set aside the branching for now and just be able to accept the encounter or not. Once you've completed all the content you can always go back and implement the branching if necessary
