Puppets and Puppeteers!

Today, we have a unique sort of status condition - one that can actually be used to help the party!... Under the right circumstances.

But before that, let's meet an enemy that can cause said condition! This is the Wandering Puppeteer, a devious mage so callous that she makes puppets even out of other enemies!

-Lewd Bandit isn't looking quite herself today...

And, as you're certainly expecting, she can do the same to the party!

This particular ability has a low chance of success, but if it does, you'll be the (proud?) new owner of a wooden puppet that happens to look exactly like one of your heroines!

The Puppet status is, for most cases, a pretty bad thing - I mean, it's basically no different than being Petrified, right? Well, it just so happens you'll come across the chance to let a teammate learn a special skill called Puppeteer.

When a character uses Puppeteer, her turn isn't wasted and she can still act. However, this skill allows any Puppet characters in the party to take their turns - as puppets!

Puppets are unusual characters - they don't have a Lust meter or any kind of special skill like Combat or Magic, but they do get Puppet skills which (for the time being) just includes the very damaging (to the puppet and to the enemy) skill Body Slam. They also don't gain EXP; they're mindless puppets, after all.

To make things even more strange, a certain NPC that you can encounter has the ability to level up your puppets and equip them with unique weapons, for a price. Who could be capable of such a thing...?

All this makes Puppet a status you might actually want to keep around (assuming you have no problems wielding your former friends as naked, brainless weapons). So, on that note, let's talk about something else.

This is a Restoration Point. It's pretty self-explanatory; step on it and your party is fully restored - their HP is filled, their Lust is set to 0, and all but the most persistent status conditions are removed.

-And it's free! Hooray!

But a handful of conditions, such as Puppet, let you choose whether you want to remove them or not:

-Hmmm.... Nah. :)  ♥

Perhaps you'll decide that you'd rather have a Puppet than a Mage or a Warrior? Maybe even Princess Lilina will get her chance to be toyed with as a wooden doll. It's your choice to make!

Will there be a way to do a similar 'build/run' using bimbo teammates? Or an entire bimbo team?

I absolutely *Adore* this concept of using status conditions as changing the way you play the game rather than just being something to avoid to continue. It's really approaching it as "fetish as fun" and I hope to see more of it in general, but especially in this game!
