My one time with Jury Duty was a lot like yours Darcie. I have been chosen once ever and I really enjoyed it actually. It was interesting to see the process and how it works from the inside. But I'm good on ever having to do it again. I work a salaried job and my company has to continue to pay me while I serve. I live in Pennsylvania. Poor Leo, I actually really liked him and Veronica as a couple. They had fun banter and he's a good guy. I like him with Veronica better than Duncan (but not as much as Logan). Random Buffy connection, the guy that works for the newspaper that Keith calls for info is the same guy who played Tara's dad in the Buffy episode Family.

2024-02-14 21:31:32 +0000 UTCIn the U.S. I don't know if it varies state by state but in all three states I've lived in, unless your employer specifically pays for Jury Duty you have to use accrued Paid Time Off. The court itself might give you a lunch allowance and validate your parking, if you're lucky.
