Yeah, the Angel/Buffy kiss is shoe-horned in so awkwardly. Doesnt make any sense for the characters, and where they're at in their lives. Joss said in the commentary it was fan-service for the hell of it, for those who stan Buffy and Angel forever. It's easy to forget when you consider why it was written in lol
