Just wanted to say how much I enjoy following you along the journey that is Buffy The Vampire Slayer; there is no other show I enjoy watching again and again and every reactor brings something that is theirs and special (slight addiction to Buffy reactions here 😁 you being one of my favorite, thinkings back to your first ever BTVS reaction I knew I would have an awesome very special time with you!) I can’t wait for next episode which is one of my absolute favorite. 💜

Not as good as the last two IMO, but it still nicely wraps up the Initiative storyline and ties together some of the themes of the season. I always felt like that closing scene with the Senator (?) had a sort of double-meaning, in the form of the writers acknowledging that the Initiative arc hadn't quite turned out as well as they hoped. It's an odd note to end a season on, though. ...Wait, what's that you say? There's one more episode left? Huh. Wonder what they have planned for that. 😉

2022-07-27 19:31:27 +0000 UTCA little thing about this episode I appreciate: Giles says it will take “5 minutes, give or take” for the spell to kick in at 36:00. At around 37:00 we see the first shot of the magic being performed, and the spell hits Buffy at around 42:02; so 5-6 minutes depending on how you count. I do like it when time passes correctly.
