Heyo! This tab uses the same fretting positions that Jack White uses, and I opted to palm mute the verses as he does and follow his same embellishments in the chorus.
As many of you know, this "bassline" was recorded with a guitar. The tone was achieved by running a Kay hollowbody electric guitar through the octave-down setting of a DigiTech Whammy pedal.
Most music these days is quantized, but The White Stripes chose not to. I respect that artistic decision and I believe it attributes to their signature sound. To put things into context, here is a screenshot (link below) of the song's beat mapping, showing the tempo fluctuation precisely. I feel it has a much more human element to it. It's organic and real. I aimed to match that with my performance. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ysagg9qb1p0auu7/Seven%20Nation%20Army%20Tempo%20Fluctuation.png?dl=0
