It's 2025! Hope you guys had a good New years eve. It's been just over a year since I started animating stuff and I've learned a lot sense I started. More recently though I think I finally figured out the direction I want to go in when it comes to future work. So I'll be updating the patron to reflect this.

First off. No more short animation vs long animation distinctions. All my animations from here on will just be animations, most likely on the longer end. I've come to realize that I enjoy the process of making long animations over short and quick ones. That's the main change.

Now I'll talk about where I want to take animations in the future. Getting back to work on the Renamon animation has been really fun. I've found this animation particularly enjoyable with all the dialogue, scenes, and character interactions. It also forced me to learn some new things when it comes to planning and execution, and I had to write out a whole script and such for this one to get everything laid out for the VAs.

So, from here on out. I plan for all the animations I work on to be in this fashion. I've already written two rough scripts for other animations, and plan on getting the Loona animation idea into a script form as well for the future. This is what you guys will be voting on in the future when time comes to pick new animations. Instead of an image with a vague description of what it will be about. Ill be posting full scripts with all the dialogue and scene-setting information.

I may also sprinkle in random animation loops that are throw away unplanned fun stuff that I make. That will likely be infrequent though. And the main thing you guys will be driving and interacting with are the larger animation projects.

Also, I've picked up my drawing tablet again recently and got back into sculpting ( Yes I can do that to ). So we may be seeing some new models soonish?? IDK, most of my sculpts have been of existing characters from other artist in their styles. I'm not that creative when it comes to designing characters so I normally just sculpt stuff I like from other artist. I may post some progress of that after I see if the artist care if I use their designs. Some people can be a little picky about who uses their stuff and I don't like stepping on toes.

Animation Update

I'll be posting a new preview of the Renamon animation soon. I'm working on finalizing the scenes that don't have dialogue as I'm waiting on responses from the VAs before I start work on the other parts of the animation.
