Ashborn Recap!
Added 2025-07-08 17:00:10 +0000 UTCHey everyone! We're officially back! Well, kinda. We'll be doing one chapter this week, and ramping up next week as I get back into the swing of things. As such, billing will remain paused until next week, so consider this a freebie. I've also written up a recap to jog peoples' memory, below.
I know I promised everyone bonus chapters - I haven't forgotten about those. I'm working hard to rebuild my buffer after the break, so expect those over the next couple of months.
As for Soulweaver's performance on Amazon, it's sadly been pretty lackluster, though I was so thrilled to see so much support from readers. I've been advised to drop the series by my writer friends, but I like this story too much to do that, and too many have contributed their time and effort to the task. The plan for now is to charge on and complete the series, which will likely end up being four books. Thanks again for all of your support!

Both Human and Demon Realms are embroiled in the midst of chaos as Vir launches his plan to take back his kingdom from the Chitran, who have sat on the throne after defeating his father, King Maion, and mother, Queen Shari Gara, when Vir was a baby. During that time, they have committed until atrocities upon the Garga, leading to a breaking point.
Thanks to the help of the Iksana and the Baira, Vir has met with success, taking over the city and killing the Chitran Raja, Matiman Chitra. Yet all is not well—Annas, the combatant who tried to have Vir’s Ash Wolf, Shan, poisoned during the Bairan Tournament of Champions, plots revenge, and he brings the combined might of the Chitran and Aindri forces.
Meanwhile, Princess Ira Kin’jal’s plans to usurp the Kin’jal throne from Imperator Andros and reshape the nation into a peaceful one has failed. She is captured along with Maiya, and nearly die by being boiled alive. It is only thanks to Vir’s timely intervention—finally having plotting a course to the Human Realm through the Ash with Ashani’s help—that they are saved and brought back to the Demon Realm.
After recovering in Vir’s care, the two return to help Riyan retain control of the Saian capital of Kartara, as Imperator Andros musters his army to strike at Kartara’s walls.
Without reinforcements, Riyan is doomed. Luckily, those reinforcements arrive, though not in the form he expected. Vir’s elite Asura Warriors emerge through Ash Gates created by Ashani, and in a shock operation, annihilate Andros’ strike force while they are in their camp, causing the famed Balarian Warrior to rout—something that has never happened before.
It is the eve of the fateful battle in which Vir solidifies his reign over Samar Patag and Gargan lands, and tensions brew to a breaking point in both realms.

I'd be very interested if you could swing that, but I'm not actually sure patreon exposes good API actions for this sort of thing. The guy who did the readeon and writeon apps tussled with that and eventually had to go a different route.

2025-07-09 18:52:51 +0000 UTCI’m a Ph.D in CS, I could whip up a chrome plugin using Patreon’s own API to accomplish this, with creator restriction permissions built in. Would that be something you’d be interested in? I’d offer it to the Patreon community as a whole, of course.

2025-07-09 18:48:42 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, I do not believe patreon supports this. It'd be an awesome feature, but then again it's patreon. On my side, the experience is extremely clunkly and error-prone. RoyalRoad does support epub export, but that would only cover the RR chapters, unfortunately.

2025-07-09 18:43:04 +0000 UTCIs it possible to get a pdf of the 40+ chapters already in the collection? It seems like something that should be built in to Patreon, but, I have no idea if that’s the sort of thing the content creator can control, or a missing feature in entire
