Thanks for enjoying this series Zach. As far as being a food anime, this one foregoed really featuring the food in favor of the food's production, the waifus, and of course the booze, so I felt pretty confident you'd enjoy it. I'll just simply mention a couple of food animes for your consideration in the future while you enjoy your current lineup: Cinderella Chef is a Chinese anime w/ 3 seasons with a nice mix of comedy, action, and really pretty animation. The focal point though is For Sure the food and it all looks amazing! The other is Sweetness and Lightning. This one has a plot centered around a single father, his young daughter, and one of his students who has a famous chef mother. The daughter and her mother have a restaurant that they live above where the majority of the food scenes occur. It's even parts "gets you in the feels/shows meals most novices can tackle but look delicious". I recommend both for your choosing when you'd like to enjoy another food anime in the future. π
