2024-09-22 05:46:41 +0000 UTCI guess I am focusing too much on the similarities between Seasons 3 and 4, while diminishing the differences between them. It's been 6 months since I really ventured beyond Volume 9, since most of my time was devoted to the current arc. To say that the main differences between Season 3 and the predicted Season 4 include the stakes being higher, is not the way I thought about it, but I will think about it now. It's a valid point. It's hard to see everything from an anime-only pov. Dividing the LN into 3-volume seasons is a bit artificial.

2024-09-22 00:46:31 +0000 UTCWell, it's been, oh, six months since I reread Volumes 10-15, and actually I temporarily abandoned Volume 15 and beyond since then, in favor of concentrating on the current arc. I will be getting back to it shortly. So although I remember the highlights, I don't remember a lot of the details. I hadn't considered it that way. I have the think about what I thought about the stakes when I first read it. I remember that whole process of a rising tension, and not knowing where the threat emanated from. From the pov of someone who has experienced Season 3, I see potential but not actual threats. It's like the surface and the underground are occurring separately. They were a bit skimpy imo with making the same underground portion as clear as it was in the LN. Tempest's position in the world has changed drastically from season's beginning to its end. I don't want to say more, but some seeds will sprout at the least.

2024-09-22 00:07:28 +0000 UTCmyst, I would say the major difference between the plot for S3 and S4 that people would like is that there are actual stakes in S4. In S3, there never really was a feeling of doom or danger IMO, the villains were small fry or not actual villains lol Without getting into too many specifics, for what they would adapt in S4, we get first hand action from big villains and some very heavy hitters take center stage! We get a bunch of background info on major characters and the storyline as a whole and are finally bringing in people that have been teased to us as well. There is a lot to look forward to that season! Lots of questions answered and more action that S3 for sure.

I was just a little depressed about people who didn't love Season 3, and I don't want people to have their expectations for Season 4 raised to the point that they will feel let down a second time. But Season 5 is a completely different situation.

I loved the concousion of the wn but I would love if he expands on it a lot, and I am perfectly fine if he changes it, we can have both existing at once after all. Wn going nowhere :3 also, wonder when we get ln vol 22 hahahah, been a while I think. I hope the authr is ok

2024-09-21 20:12:17 +0000 UTCAs for what might be in Season 4, I am hoping people aren't overhyping it. In some ways it isn't that different from Season 3 a lot of the time. But I've learned I can't predict what people are going to think. I will say the content is more varied, maybe? It depends on how they animate it, I guess. I, of course, am already hyped. Season 5 and beyond? Let's just see Season 4 first. Soon, please, but not so soon that it's crap.

I do buy the volumes in japanese tho. But cant read them lol. I only understand spoken jap. I am watching yt summaries to the ln tho :3 so I kinda know what s up regarding the plot. And I am pretty sure Fuse will leave the main oberarching thematical plot intsct anyway. So I know where this is going. And I LOVE THIS. Next arc is Coooking. I wonder how much will differ in relation to what I v read. Hihihi

I really hope it won't be too long before there's a next season, but frankly, even though I don't want it, being a huge fan during the airing of Tensura is a lot of work and I need a mental break, or at least a more leisurely approach. That said, I'll miss being able to discuss it in this format. ........ A few minor details: Rimuru wanted an elaborate massive door for the entrance to the Labyrinth. Where was Eren all this time? Rimuru had tapped them to help set up Youm's new kingdom, and they had been traveling around Farmenas Guild locations helping out where they could. Rimuru hadn't seen them and he suspected they had been avoiding Archduke Erald. Milim had taken a couple of unlimited-use resurrection bracelets and taken two "playmates" down to the dragon floors to keep the dragons in shape. Rimuru thus was assured Milim wouldn't be interfering in the demo. I did see some of the Coleus characters during this episode.

You could also occasionally spot them in the VIP section of the Colosseum across these few episodes. It is nice to see the faces of anime only characters like Tiss and them to keep up continuity! That little scene of Rimuru drinking with Shion and Towa and Luminus drinking with Hinata was for sure one of my favorite moments of this episode!! With Towa trying to be the group mom and keep Rimuru in line hahaha
