THE BATTLE IS HERE! Tensura (Tensei Slime) Season 3 Episode 7 Reaction! (UNCUT VERSION)

Comments

The Yomigaeri members possess the Extra Skill Perfect Memory which allows their memories to be stored inside their Astral Body. And combined with the Extra Skill Self-Regeneration, they can regenerate from nearly all injures (including the destruction of the brain). This combination of skills gives them healing capabilities comparable to the Orc Disaster Geld.

Fireheart310

they can probably easily add it as something that was off screened tbh

yeah this is pretty much all we can say about this without giving too much away haha! But myst, that is something I did not think about. You are right! Not sure how they will explain it in the anime but we shall see.

any more words and we enter danger territory tho. Zach is too intelligent lmao

Nah, I just forgot. But . ...... . SPOILER .........................................................,................................................................................. You remember what happens when someone in particular arrives onsite. How did that person learn about the situation? I don't know of another way except through Louis.

in the novels, Rimuru cut off Hinata's comms in the middle of her conversation with Louis, in this they have him cutting it off when she is speaking to Nicolaus. Either way, it's like a 30 second convo that just confirms stuff for us as viewers, I don't think it is an important loss. Also in the novels, the Yomigaeri do coat their blades in something to incapacitate the Holy Knights. I just looked it up and in the LN they called it a 'strong hypnotic' so that may just come down to a difference in translation.

Generally speaking, the Seven Days are planting seeds, and confirmation bias has them seeing everything that happens causing those seeds to grow.

Yes, I forgot about Hinata contacting Louis. But she has to do it or the plot can't progress. But wouldn't she have difficulty since Rimuru was cutting off communication? Something to check.

Can't think of anything really. Maybe that Hinata joined up at Renard's location? I think they two Church groups met up with the two Tempest groups separately first. I just reread that part in the last few weeks, and they pretty much covered everything. They did decrease the gore factor because the Yomigaeri can come back from the dead, so the injuries were often a lot more serious. They added stuff about the battle, too. The individual battles were not described in the novel, and there were no individuals ever pointed out as members of the Yomigaeri, except you knew Gobzo was one of them. But you see them fighting, and the little girl, I am sure she was the girl in the street that Shion protected in Season 2, really became badass. In the novel, you never even knew if she survived or died. I am pretty sure they got the teams of 3 Yomigaeri plus Kurenai vs. 1 Crusader ratio right. Also, I don't think there was any sleeping potion involved. Funny, I started out saying there weren't differences, then as I was writing I came up with more. But bottom line, they didn't leave out anything important and made the battle itself more interesting, even if there was less gore. So A+.

They did a fantastic job with this episode. They left in basically everything. The interaction at the Ramen shop showing how Rimuru is advertising the new Ramen product by having the waitress loudly speak about it was something I thought they would skim over. But I am glad they didn't because it highlights Rimuru's business sense well. Leaving in the full explanation of the road to Hinata was good as well. It shows why even the Saints are all convinced they should be friends with Rimuru. They left off a little of the dialogue from Hinata thinking back about the meeting she had with Yuuki where they discussed Rimuru but that really wasn't a big loss. It is basically Yuuki commenting on how it's crazy that Rimuru has all these problems that popped up since founding his nation yet he is still able to advance the forest so much and spread new products. Also right after Niklaus contacted Hinata, she contacted Louis to ask if he dispatched the 'Three Battlesages' to Farmus and he denied doing so. This makes Hinata more sure that the 'Seven Days' are making moves but it is something we already know so it was also okay to leave out IMO.

Ok then, I ask my betters: what was changed, or omitted ? I do not remember hahahah.
