An Announcement Regarding Next Week's Posting Schedule

I have an announcement to make.
I’ll try my best to keep this brief as I don’t want to take too much of your time! Basically, as a result of conflicting shifts at work, dealing with my grandmother’s health, and a few family situations I have to tend to, I’m going to be unable to sufficiently have the time and space I usually need to proofread, edit, and write the new chapters. This means that I will be unable to post next week’s chapters (Chapter 100 of WPA, and Chapter 114 of HDH), and will have to defer them to the following week. This will effectively be a one week pause in the posting schedule as a result.
I’m genuinely sorry for having to do this. And to provide some context to those who may be new here, I’m a medical student irl, and I’m currently in the process of getting the various elements of the clinical phase of my training squared off. Alongside my theoretical studies, I also have a lot of practical studies where I am assigned shifts alongside attending staff, fellows, residents, and interns. I normally am able to schedule and shuffle my shifts around my posting schedule, allowing me to have time to write, edit, and proofread my chapters to the standards I keep myself to. However, due to recent events involving my grandmother’s health, there’s now added pressure on my time that will make me unable to perform my editing and writing duties to the standards I keep myself to. This is why I have decided to place a one week pause on the posting schedule, as I believe the quality of the chapters would be hampered as a result of the decrease in my available time to work on them.
I really hope this is alright with everyone and I once again apologize for this disruption in the schedule. I guarantee though that we'll get back to the usual schedule after all this is done! I hope you guys have a great week! :D

2024-09-15 17:45:54 +0000 UTCI would be quite alright with you switching into 1 chapter / 2 weeks UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE if problems with school assignments and grandma's health are prolonged. Fame is fleeting, but so is the time with your family. I'd hate to keep you away from your loved ones because of an expectation of new chapters coming on schedule. It's ok to not just postpone once, but slow down overall, if that's what it takes. Hugs from Poland, JCB!
