Not me wearing my Bangel sweater conveniently the same day Buffy and Riley end their relationship or having it on pause. Honestly at this point end it, the relationship is just a reach of trying to see how far you can last in a non-communicative relationship. The iffy sides of the both parties, and the way it could had been resolved with a simple talk. Hell, even the way Buffy didn’t even notice a problem with their relationship until Xander sprinkled it in. Would she even had guessed? Yeah at this point just leave this relationship in the drafts especially the pick and have Riley stay AND him using bite marks as a reason to act reckless. Idc anymore about why and how, #freemefromthisship.

2022-02-12 22:34:02 +0000 UTCRiley, in my opinion, was honestly too toxic for Buffy. She was right, it is because she is stronger than him, he proved that more than once. He hated that she didn't need him...and I think that is ok. I don't think you should be in a relationship if you NEED the other person. You need to be able to take care of yourself first, then have someone who compliments you. There is nothing wrong with anyone not NEEDING someone. I really think she loved him, but he was way too masculine to see it. lol. His self worth was so shot that he didn't know what he had right in front of him. And she was right, she shouldn't be blamed for the breakup. I personally don't believe that Buffy treated him like rebound. If he was rebound, she wouldn't have stayed with him as long as she did.
