But this episode was much needed after my cry feast last episode. I’m happy they confirmed Xander is still in love with Buffy. I kept mentioning how he would react to things but now it’s 100% confirmed. I wonder if it’ll be an issue him and Cordelia will have to overcome. Also I watched episode 19 and whew, I’ll talk to y’all about that on Friday hehe.

Yes, Xander is still in love with Buffy. He acknowledged it in Ep. 16. He can't not love her. It's not something he has any control over.

2021-04-12 20:23:45 +0000 UTCThis episode it kinda needed after the last one. But it is all about the repercussions, just not explicitly. It does make it feel oddly placed though. I think it was originally a season 1 script that they reworked and it does feel like that. It does contain a cool monster though :) And Giles without a filter. He looks really tired and depressed IMO but also says some stuff he'd normally keep to himself, he just can't right now :( I do love the Giles and Cordy team up lol Xander is being SUPER protective this episode. I think all the kids have really been shaken by Jenny's death in so much as they weren't really taking Angelus seriously enough and now none of them are safe. And a little call back to Willow's frog fear :)
