May artpiece WIP update!
Added 2024-05-04 06:11:16 +0000 UTCFinally I can unveil to you guys the full background for the May piece! It took a few days of work but I think it was well worth the time invested! As you can see by the state of Wenke, I'm close to completing the piece altogether! I just still need to shade everything that isn't a piercing or piece of jewelry on the boy, give a counter shadow from the fire leading back to the ruins, and wrap up the signature, which in the spirit of the older Wenke pieces will be something fun and whimsical.
As you may notice, Wenke has gotten a redesign and upgrade! His old colors felt very sterile and boring to me, though I love him no the less for it, so I decided why not use this as a chance to redesign him! I feel really happy with how it's all coming along so far and hope you all feel the same!
As for an update on the NSFW side of things, I'm thinking after I've wrapped some personal things up and perhaps done some commissions then later this month I'll try to tackle something related to that. I had an idea for a Wenke piece, but I think I may instead like to use Ethelfled and do a similar thing, using it to upgrade his patterns and such. I'm undecided right now as my main worry is finishing this piece and working on wrapping up the commission queue.
