Under development
Added 2024-05-09 06:35:36 +0000 UTCHello! Been busy with a side project from the publisher (as I work with them as a programmer). It took much longer than I expected, so I was wrong about the timing of when the new build for MFH will be ready.
Now I'm free from that job, so I hope I won't be distracted from my project again.
Now to the news about the MFH. After some brainstorming, I still decided to add some new things to the game that can make it more difficult and make it more interesting.
It's an elemental damage system (yes, I know, more work).
This is all because the curse system will be in the game and the basis of the curse will be the element of lust. This element will affect both the player and the monsters.
Unlike normal elements (fire, water, etc.), damage from this element will only affect the lust variable of the player and monsters.
An example of how it works:
The player will be knocked off his feet/become uncontrollable upon filling the lust scale (auto masturbating/fucking the nearest knocked down monster). At the same time, monsters will have a similar effect, but in most cases, a monster that has a capture attack will start using only it (the capture goes into H-scene), a monster that does not have such attacks will start to masturbate, and in cases where the monster has additional animations with other monsters, then the monster can attack another monster (in order to initiate sex).
All this became possible because I started using a better algorithm for working with AI monsters and NPCs. For those in the know, this is the Behavior Tree algorithm. I'm still testing it, but this thing works and opens up a lot of new possibilities.
Of course, this all sounds cool, but until I give you a build with these mechanics, it will be hard to believe. Therefore, I am currently working on a new build and I hope that if nothing distracts me, I will have everything I need ready by the end of the month.
Oh, I also want to do a little survey. Are you interested in seeing damage taken/dealt numbers in games like this (metroidvania)? This includes damage from sex.
Thank you for your support!

Nice! Thanks for the answer! The attack/defense approach sounds great to me! :)

In this mod, the attack/defense of mobs and bosses will be reduced, there will be a greater chance of resource drops (from one log there will be more wood resources than in normal mode). But I will do it when I balance the normal mod.

2024-05-09 08:20:11 +0000 UTCSince you mentioned making the game harder, what are your thoughts on an easy mode? Don't want to add too much workload on your shoulders, but personally I'm more in it for the H-Content, and I remember struggling quite a bit with some earlier builds of MFH (for example, the platforming before the Dryad, or in newer builds the general survivability).
