Kazama launched a series of taijutsu attacks at Alvida—activating techniques like Hachimon Tonkō (Eight Gates) one after another. 

But to Kazama's shock, none of his blows even scratched her. 

That sudden realization sent a chill down his spine—he hadn’t expected this at all. 

Seeing that Kazama’s attacks had failed, Alvida immediately burst into mocking laughter. 

“Well, well, Kazama you little punk. Didn’t I tell you? You’re no match for me! What now, huh? Still gonna act all tough in front of me? Keep playing the badass?” 

“You’re really getting on my nerves!” 

Infuriated by her constant taunts, Kazama’s temper exploded. 

With a furious expression, he shouted, “Listen here, Alvida! Do you really think I’m not your equal?” 

“That’s right. I do think you’re beneath me.” 

“Fine. In that case, let me show you what I’m really capable of!” 

With that, Kazama rushed at her again, filled with fighting spirit. 

Alvida, smirking coldly, couldn’t believe he was still trying to act tough even though he clearly wasn’t her match. She responded with another wave of attacks using her Sube Sube no Mi (Slip-Slip Fruit) powers. 

But then came an unexpected twist. 

Kazama tapped into his system’s power—instantly absorbing her Sube Sube no Mi abilities. 

“Ding! Congratulations, host. You’ve acquired the Super Slip-Slip Fruit ability!” 

Now empowered, Kazama used his newly enhanced, ultra-slick moves to pummel Alvida, leaving her bruised and battered in a matter of seconds. 

“What?! This... this can’t be happening!” Alvida stammered, drenched in cold sweat and filled with disbelief at Kazama’s overwhelming power. 

Kazama smirked coldly and snapped, “I told you, Alvida—you were never a match for me. Still think you can act all high and mighty in front of me now?” 

In just a few swift moves, Kazama had both Buggy the Clown and Alvida tied up and restrained. 

Then he dragged them in front of Marine Commander Smoker. 

Smoker, still fuming from being humiliated by Kazama earlier, was stunned to see these two infamous pirates captured and brought right to him. 

With suspicion in his eyes, Smoker grumbled, “You again? First you knock me flat on my back like some hotshot, now you’re back acting all smug again. What, you trying to rub it in?” 

“Heh,” Kazama sneered. “You’re really something, Smoker. Can’t even recognize when someone’s doing you a favor. I just handed over two of the most ruthless, arrogant pirates alive—and this is the thanks I get?” 

“…Wait, seriously?” Smoker blinked, stunned. 

Realizing the situation, he quickly forced a smile and said, “Look, Kazama, my man—we’re not enemies here. I had no idea you were helping us. I’ll lock these two up right away!” 

As he spoke, Smoker stepped closer to Kazama. 

But before Kazama could react—Smoker suddenly lashed out with an attack. 

Kazama was completely caught off guard. 

He never saw it coming. 

Chapter 467: Controlling You with Kotoamatsukami 

Even though Kazama was stunned by the sneak attack, he wasn’t worried in the slightest—there was no way someone like Marine Commander Smoker could actually harm him. 

After all, Kazama's strength had already surpassed Smoker’s by hundreds of times. 

Even with a surprise strike, Kazama could effortlessly block the attack using his absolute defense—his impenetrable body, immune to swords, bullets, or any physical force. 

But Kazama wasn’t just defending himself. 

He was also protecting Zoro, Luffy, and the rest of the crew.

But now, seeing Kazama summon a towering, divine Susanoo in the blink of an eye, Smoker was drenched in cold sweat. 

If he hadn’t been a seasoned veteran of countless battles, Smoker might’ve soiled himself on the spot at the sheer pressure of facing a divine being towering several stories tall. 

As Kazama’s complete Susanoo radiated power, it wasn’t just Smoker who was stunned. 

Even Luffy, Zoro, and the others—Kazama’s own crewmates—were wide-eyed with disbelief. 

They had never seen Kazama unleash anything this powerful before.

Their thoughts were unified:

“Commander Smoker, I originally wanted to cooperate with you. I caught Buggy the Clown and that pirate woman Alvida for you, so you could take credit and report back. But now? You dare keep acting tough in front of me? There’s a limit to what I’ll tolerate!” 

“…Is that so?” Smoker’s voice trembled. 

Seeing now just how hopelessly outmatched he was, Smoker realized he had neither the strength nor the right to face off against Kazama. 

His heart pounding with fear, Smoker dropped to his knees with a loud thud, bowing before Kazama. 

Everyone watching—including Luffy and his crew, and even Smoker’s own subordinates—was completely stunned. 

No one expected the proud Marine Commander to surrender so quickly. 

Chapter 468: Big Bro, You're Seriously Awesome 

Everyone who had served under Marine Commander Smoker knew exactly what kind of man he was—strong, righteous, and absolutely intolerant of pirates. 

By all accounts, there was no way someone like Smoker would ever beg for mercy from pirates like Kazama and his crew. 

But now? Not only was Smoker begging Kazama for forgiveness... 

He was on his knees, head bowed, kowtowing like crazy. 

It completely shattered their worldview. 

They just couldn’t believe what they were seeing. 

At first, Kazama had planned to destroy Smoker—to utterly crush him, body and soul. 

But then he thought, I didn’t come to this world just to go on a killing spree. 

Besides, the Marines were already arrogant and overbearing as it was. 

If he killed a big-name officer like Smoker, it would probably provoke the whole Navy into hounding him non-stop—like flies around garbage. 

That would make it nearly impossible to reach the Grand Line. 

And if he couldn’t get to the Grand Line, how could he help Luffy and the others grow stronger? 

Thinking this through, Kazama decided to treat Smoker not as an enemy, but as a pawn. 

In the blink of an eye, he cast his most powerful genjutsu—Kotoamatsukami, the ultimate illusion technique. 

Before anyone could react, Smoker—who had been groveling and pleading—fell completely under Kazama’s control. 

Now, Smoker was utterly obedient. There was no trace of his previous arrogance. 

Kazama wasted no time. He gave his orders immediately: 

“Take Buggy the Clown and that pirate woman Alvida, and throw them in a Marine prison. After that, escort us out of here safely.” 

“And don’t even think about reporting any of this to Marine HQ.” 

“Heh! You little punk! Who do you think you are?!” 

Before Kazama could even finish, Smoker’s subordinates exploded in anger. 

“How dare you talk to our commander like that?! You think just ‘cause you’re strong you can give orders to Smoker?!” 

They were convinced that no matter how powerful Kazama was, there was no way Commander Smoker—a high-ranking, by-the-book Marine—would ever take orders from a pirate. 

But then... to their absolute disbelief... 

Smoker started nodding furiously at Kazama, like a pecking chicken. “Yes, sir! Understood!” 

His men were totally dumbfounded. 

They stared, thinking, Did the commander eat something weird this morning? Did he hit his head?! 

One of them stepped forward, trying to make sense of it. “Commander, have you forgotten who you are?! You’re the head of our unit! Why are you bowing to a pirate like him?!” 

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK! 

Before they could finish, Smoker knocked them all to the ground in a flash—three slaps, lightning quick. 

“You idiots! You think I need your permission to make decisions? Listen up!” 

“Kazama is my aniki now—my big bro! I don’t care if he’s a pirate or a Marine. Whatever he says goes. Got it?! From now on, no one is allowed to act tough in front of Big Bro Kazama!” 

Chapter 469: The Mysterious Little Girl 

"If you refuse to obey Aniki Kazama’s orders... then I’ll tear you all to pieces and scatter your ashes to the wind!" 

“Eh... is that so?” 

The moment the Marine commander Smolo heard that, cold sweat broke out across the faces of the Marines. Without hesitation, they all began nodding and agreeing fervently. 

After all, Smolo was their commander. No matter how arrogant or unruly they might be, none of them dared defy his orders—especially now that he had clearly submitted to Kazama. 

Meanwhile, Luffy, Zoro, and the others were in total shock. Kazama had taken down Smolo and his men all by himself—and now even had the Marines listening to his every word. 

That was unheard of. 

Luffy and the others knew well that Marines and pirates were mortal enemies—like fire and water. And yet, Kazama had not only defeated them, but managed to command them. 

It was beyond shocking. 

Luffy and Zoro immediately rushed over to Kazama, showering him with praise. 

“Kazama-aniki, you’re incredible! Totally badass!” 

“Yeah, seriously! We’ve met some powerful pirates before, but none of them could ever boss around Marines like you can. You’re a real role model for us!” 

Kazama grinned confidently. 

“Heh, you guys aren’t wrong. I don’t usually boast, but whether it's the Marines or pirates—no one dares act tough in front of me. I live by the rule: if you don’t mess with me, I won’t mess with you. But if you do—then even the Yonkou, the Shichibukai, or Marine HQ itself... they’re all trash compared to me!” 

“Of course! Totally!” 

Luffy, Zoro, and the others nodded emphatically. 

If anyone else had said something like that, Luffy and crew would’ve just laughed it off, thinking it was empty bragging. But Kazama? He had the power to back it up. They had seen it with their own eyes. 

Before long, the crew set sail again. 

Thanks to Nami, their navigator, they continued on their journey down the Grand Line. 

Along the way, Luffy—who’d been eating beef nonstop—started craving something different. Some poultry, maybe. So he decided to use his rubber powers to snag a few birds flying overhead. 

But instead of birds, he ended up catching... a little girl. 

Everyone was stunned—and completely bewildered. 

Then, to make matters even more chaotic, Luffy’s rubbery rebound was so powerful it sent a sleeping Zoro flying straight into the ocean. 

That had Kazama and the rest bursting into laughter. 

Kazama turned his attention back to the unconscious girl Luffy had accidentally “caught.” 

“Luffy, your luck is something else. You went fishing for birds and reeled in a little girl instead. So... what are you planning to do with her?” 

“Uh... well...” 

Luffy scratched his head awkwardly. 

“I honestly have no idea. I don’t even know how I pulled her up in the first place.” 

“And why would a little girl be all alone, drifting out here in the middle of the sea?” 

As Kazama and the crew puzzled over the girl’s identity and circumstances, the mystery around her only deepened... 

Chapter 470: Descendant of the True Dragon  

The little girl suddenly snapped awake. 

And the moment she opened her eyes, she found herself being stared at by Kazama and the others, which startled her quite a bit. 

Then she noticed the pirate flag flying on their ship—sending a chill down her spine and making her break out in cold sweat. 

After all, ordinary civilians are usually terrified of pirates. 

Seeing the girl's anxious expression, Kazama quickly reassured her with a smile. 

“Don’t worry. Yeah, we’re pirates, but we’re righteous pirates—true ones who fight for justice!” 

“Really? There are pirates who stand for justice?” the girl asked, eyes wide with curiosity. 

“Hehe, of course there are!” Luffy and the others chimed in with cheerful grins. 

“You probably don’t know this, but this guy here is our big bro Kazama. He’s a righteous pirate through and through—he’s even helped the Marines capture some seriously evil pirates!” 

“Yeah! Some of the Marines even became our good friends and allies. So don’t worry, we’re nothing like the pillaging and burning kind of pirates. We’re just adventuring on the Grand Line, looking for treasure. So there’s really nothing for you to be afraid of!” 

“Oh, really? That’s such a relief!”  

Hearing their words, the girl’s tense expression melted into a smile as she nodded happily. 

Then she introduced herself to Kazama, Luffy, and the others. 

“My name is Apis. The Marines are after me right now... So if you’re really righteous people, do you think you could take me back to my hometown—Warship Island?” 

“What? Warship Island?”  

As soon as Nami heard that, she instinctively frowned and looked ready to refuse. 

That island was definitely off the course of their journey on the Grand Line. 

And to top it off, this girl, despite her innocent looks, was apparently being hunted by actual Marines. 

That alone was enough to make Nami extra wary. 

She leaned close to Kazama and whispered, “Big bro Kazama, I’m not trying to be cold-hearted here, but this girl’s background is way too sketchy. And she’s being chased by the Marines? On top of that, taking her to Warship Island totally throws us off course. If you ask me, we’re better off not getting involved. Let’s just give her a little dinghy and let her go her own way.” 

“No way!”  

Kazama shook his head with a warm smile. 

He was a man of justice—there was no way he could just abandon this girl to be taken by the Marines like that. 

Besides, Kazama knew something important: if the Marines truly stood for justice, they wouldn’t be going around arresting little girls without cause. 

The ones chasing Apis now were almost certainly corrupt. 

He turned back to the girl and asked gently, “Why exactly are the Marines after you?” 

“Well…”  

Apis hesitated, clearly unsure about revealing her secret. 

But after a moment, she seemed to come to a decision and nodded seriously. 

“It’s actually a secret I wasn’t supposed to tell anyone… but since you asked, I’ll tell you everything—just one condition: once I tell you, will you promise to take me to Warship Island?” 

She looked at Kazama with hopeful eyes.
