Chapter 396: First Battle with Pirates 

"I've never been to the World of One Piece before. Since that's the case, in order to defeat that Ōtsutsuki Main Family Ancestor, I guess I'll have to unite with the many protagonists of the World of One Piece to deal with this Ōtsutsuki clan's Ancestor!" Kazama immediately nodded after hearing the system's introduction. 

But just then, the castle Kazama was in suddenly began shaking violently. This immediately startled Kazama. And at that moment, everyone inside the surrounding castle was thrown into immediate chaos. Kazama quickly flew outside. Only then did he realize he wasn't in a castle at all, but a massive ship. Because the ship was so luxurious, Kazama had mistaken it for a castle. 

And just then, dozens of cannonballs from afar were already soaring toward Kazama's location. 

"These are pirates? Looks like my luck is incredibly good. I've just arrived in the World of One Piece and already encountered a pirate attack!" Kazama smiled faintly at the thought. He had long wanted to use his Ninjutsu to make a name for himself in this World of One Piece. He also wanted to see whether these pirates' abilities were strong or weak, and to see whose skills were more formidable: theirs, or the Ninjutsu he'd mastered in the Naruto World. 

"Water Release: Water Wall!" 

In a flash, Kazama immediately created a powerful, circular Water Wall. It directly blocked the cannonball attacks. 

"What?! How is this possible?!" 

At that moment, the pirates who were attacking Kazama's ship discovered that their cannonballs had been inexplicably blocked by a wall of seawater, which immediately startled them. So these pirates immediately panicked and reported the incident to their pirate captain. 

"This is bad, Lady Alvida! For some reason, a wall of seawater suddenly appeared around the merchant ship we're attacking, blocking our cannonball attacks!" 

"What?! I'm furious!" 

The plump and fierce female pirate, Lady Alvida, upon hearing that her cannonballs hadn't destroyed the merchant ship, immediately flew into a furious rage, jumping with anger. She immediately ordered her subordinates to storm Kazama's ship. 

At this point, the passengers on the ship had thought they would surely perish at sea. But they never expected that Kazama, all by himself, had saved everyone on the entire ship. This immediately filled them with joy. It also made them particularly curious about Kazama's origins, identity, and abilities. After all, in their understanding, no one could possibly manipulate the power of the sea! 

So, these people immediately surrounded Kazama, chattering excitedly and showering him with compliments. Meanwhile, Kazama could only nod politely in response to their compliments. After all, he hadn't come to the World of One Piece just to receive compliments from everyone. Instead, he needed to quickly find Monkey D. Luffy, the one who had dreamed of becoming the Pirate King since he was a child. 

Just then, Lady Alvida's subordinates were already scrambling to board Kazama's ship. 

"Run! There's a monster!" 

But then, these fierce-looking pirates all came scrambling out of the kitchen in a flash. 

Chapter 397: Taking Luffy Under His Wing 

This left Kazama feeling really puzzled. 

So, Kazama immediately went to the kitchen. There, he saw Monkey D. Luffy, the future Pirate King himself, just waking up from inside a wooden barrel. 

It turned out Luffy's original ship had been wrecked by the ocean, so he was just chilling in a barrel, ready to drift wherever the currents took him. 

This made Kazama inwardly laugh quite a bit. 

At this point, Luffy, having eaten a Devil Fruit, had the powers of a Rubber Man. Dealing with Alvida, the Iron Mace, and her crew would be a piece of cake for him. 

Kazama already knew that as the protagonist of One Piece, Luffy's future strength would be absolutely incredible, mind-blowingly powerful. 

So, to definitively defeat the Otsutsuki Main Family's Ancestor, Kazama needed to harness Luffy's power, and the power of his future nakama, his companions. 

With that thought, Kazama immediately approached Luffy. 

Luffy, of course, didn't recognize Kazama, nor did he know that Kazama had actually crossed over from the Naruto world. 

So, he immediately asked Kazama, looking confused, "Where am I? Why am I here?" 

"Have you forgotten? You've been drifting at sea for days and nights! Someone just picked you up and brought you aboard!" 

"Oh, right, right! I was so groggy from sleeping. But how did you know I was drifting at sea for days and nights?" Luffy was naturally confused, seeing that Kazama knew so much about his situation. 

"Well about that..." 

Facing Luffy's question, Kazama initially wanted to tell him the truth. 

But then Kazama reconsidered. He was, after all, someone who had crossed over from the Naruto world into the One Piece world. 

Even though he was extremely familiar with the One Piece storyline, how could Luffy, a character from a two-dimensional world, immediately grasp the existence of a "crossover" like him? He might even think Kazama was some kind of monster. 

Thinking this, Kazama quickly told Luffy, "You don't need to know how I know your story. What matters is, I know you're a man who wants to become the Pirate King! And coincidentally, my dream is the same as yours—I also want to become the Pirate King! So, since that's the case, let's become companions and head out together on the Grand Line to search for treasure!" 

"That sounds great, of course! To be honest, I was just looking for companions!" Luffy was always someone who loved making friends. Hearing Kazama's words, he was immediately overjoyed. 

"Heheheh, you two little brats! Just the two of you, putting on airs and talking about becoming the Pirate King? You're making me laugh!" 

Just then, a plump, fierce-looking old woman crashed down with a thud, landing right in front of Kazama and Luffy. 

Kazama, thanks to his super sensory abilities, had already detected the presence of this female pirate, Alvida. 

Because of this, he didn't show any signs of panic. 

"Listen, Alvida, I advise you to surrender obediently and give us your ship, otherwise I'll beat you black and blue!" 

"Heheheh, you truly crack me up!" 

Alvida had originally intended to utterly crush Kazama and Luffy for resisting her. But she never expected this little brat, Kazama, to actually dare to insult her! 

Chapter 398: Smashing the Lady Pirate 

So, Alvida immediately dropped her attack on Luffy and focused all her attention on Kazama. It's a shame she didn't realize that massive Water Formation Wall from before was actually Kazama's doing. If she had, even with a thousand guts, she wouldn't have dared to act so brazenly in front of him. 

Facing Alvida's frantic attacks, Kazama remained completely calm. He could have taken her down at any moment, but he wanted to see just how strong she really was, and if she had any special abilities he could absorb and utilize. That's why he didn't defeat her instantly. 

Meanwhile, Alvida's crew, seeing Kazama seemingly pushed back, thought he was no match for their boss. They started mocking him. 

"Hey kid, did a donkey kick you in the head? You dare challenge our captain?" 

"Or did you get drunk earlier and still haven't sobered up? Take a good look, this is our lady pirate, the most beautiful and elegant pirate captain in these seas!" 

"What?! I'm dying of laughter!" 

Just as Alvida's subordinates were praising her to the heavens, Luffy burst out laughing, practically falling over. 

"Hey, old hag, with a face like yours, you actually let your crew say you're the most beautiful woman on the Grand Line? Have you seriously never seen what a beautiful woman looks like?" 

"You infuriate me!" 

Alvida absolutely hated anyone calling her ugly. Even though she was, she would never tolerate being mocked. So, Alvida immediately flew into a furious rage, jumping up and down. With one swift swing of her iron mace, she left Luffy's face bruised and swollen. 

Now, remember, Luffy has the power of a rubber man, so even though he was beaten black and blue, he actually didn't suffer a single bit of damage. Just as Luffy was about to retaliate, Kazama stepped in front of him. 

"Just leave a mere lady pirate to me!" 

"Heh, you little punk, you dare underestimate me? You're really ticking me off!" 

Alvida didn't put Kazama or Luffy in her sight at all. So, in a flash, she swung her iron mace again, charging at Kazama. But with just one finger, Kazama effortlessly blocked the lady pirate's attack. Then, with a single slap, he sent Alvida flying from the ship and into the sea. 

This sudden turn of events wasn't just unexpected for Alvida; even the surrounding pirates and Luffy were completely taken aback. After all, Alvida was a massive woman, easily weighing over 500 kin (about 550 pounds). Yet, Kazama, who seemed so slender, simply waved his hand and sent Alvida flying hundreds of meters away. How could that not shock everyone? 

At this moment, Lady Pirate Alvida herself never imagined Kazama's strength would be so immense. She secretly gasped, "This is clearly the power of a demon!" 

"Kid, did you perhaps eat a Devil Fruit and gain super strength?" Lady Pirate Alvida immediately asked Kazama, her face filled with terror. 

Chapter 399: Stealing the Female Pirate's Ship Right at the Start 

"There's a Strength-Strength Fruit among the Devil Fruits? I actually didn't know that!" 

"Stop messing with me!" 

Alvida still didn't realize that Kazama had actually crossed over from the Naruto world. She also had no idea that Kazama had never consumed any Devil Fruit. All of Kazama's monstrous strength now was purely his own inherent power. 

Knowing she was no match for Kazama, Alvida quickly ordered her crew to attack him. "Listen, you little brat, don't think your strength means you can act all high and mighty in front of me! No matter how strong you are, it's just the two of you now, while my crew numbers in the hundreds! Let's see how you fight them!" 

"Heheheh, if we're talking about numbers, then I, Kazama, never back down!" 

"What?!" 

Before Alvida could even react, Kazama immediately performed the Wood Release: Wood Clone Jutsu. In just a moment, thousands of Kazama's clones appeared on the scene. 

This sight immediately caused Alvida to collapse onto the ground in terror. 

"I say, you little brat, did you perhaps eat a Devil Fruit with cloning abilities? You can even use clone jutsu?" 

"Don't worry about whether I've eaten any Devil Fruit or not. All that matters is, right now I need your treasure and your pirate ship so Luffy and I can embark on the Grand Line. Otherwise, I won't be so polite!" 

"That's right!" Luffy immediately chimed in, agreeing. 

While Kazama and Luffy wouldn't normally burn, kill, or pillage for gold and jewels, they knew that Alvida was a notoriously infamous female pirate in this area. So, taking her ship and supplies was perfectly justified. 

Seeing how incredible and powerful both Kazama and Luffy were, especially Kazama with his god-tier abilities, Alvida was absolutely terrified. 

Left with no choice, Alvida could only agree to his demands with a forced smile, handing over her pirate ship and all the gold and jewels on board to Kazama. 

Luffy was incredibly impressed when he saw how capable Kazama was. After all, Luffy had previously exerted tremendous effort just to get his hands on a dilapidated boat. But that rundown boat had been destroyed by a tsunami earlier. Now, seeing Kazama effortlessly acquire such a massive pirate ship from Alvida, complete with countless gold and jewels, Luffy naturally held Kazama in high regard. 

Then, Kazama spoke firmly again, "Big Brother, not only did you save me, but you're also willing to be my companion, and you even got us so much gold and jewels, and such a big pirate ship! But I still don't know your name. What's your honorable name?" 

"My name is Sanada Kazama. You can just call me Kazama from now on." 

"Okay, Big Brother Kazama!" 

Because Luffy greatly admired Kazama, he willingly recognized Kazama as his older brother. 

"Luffy, since our goal is to become the Pirate King and head to the Grand Line, we absolutely must find more companions!" 

"No problem!" Luffy naturally agreed with Kazama's suggestion wholeheartedly, as his current thoughts were exactly the same as Kazama's. 

Chapter 400: Rescuing Zoro 

"So, Big Bro Kazama," Luffy asked again, "where are we heading to find nakama now?" 

"Simple. We're going straight to the Marine town!" 

"What?! The Marine town? What for? You know, the Marines are our sworn enemies as pirates!" Luffy was definitely surprised when he heard Kazama's destination. 

"It's simple. Because locked up in that Marine base is a man known as the Pirate Hunter, Zoro. This Zoro is incredibly powerful and amazing. If we're going to sail the Grand Line and become the Pirate King, just the two of us won't be enough. That's why we need to find this Zoro!" 

"But from what I see, this Zoro isn't all that impressive, getting himself captured by the Marines!" At this point, Luffy didn't know Zoro yet, so hearing that Zoro was caught by mere Marines naturally made him think Zoro wasn't that strong. 

However, Kazama knew that Zoro had actually gotten himself captured willingly. You see, there's a Marine captain named Captain Axe-Hand Morgan at that Marine base. Both Morgan and his son are incredibly cruel and arrogant in that area. Zoro had a conflict with Morgan's son, and later, to protect the townspeople, Zoro willingly allowed Morgan's son to tie him up and take him to the Marine base. He wanted to use himself to protect the entire town's residents. 

But Zoro didn't know that Morgan and his son were both arrogant and treacherous. How could they possibly uphold their agreement with Zoro? So, Morgan's son was already planning to secretly execute Zoro. 

But just at that moment, Kazama and Luffy had already arrived at the Marine base. Since Kazama was very familiar with the One Piece manga, he knew the layout of this Marine base very well. So, in no time at all, they quickly arrived at the Marine base. They immediately saw Zoro, tied up tightly. 

Zoro had been tied to that wooden post for three days and three nights, but he still showed no fear whatsoever. 

"As expected of Zoro, the Three-Sword Style swordsman! Truly amazing, truly incredible!" 

"Who are you guys?" Zoro was surprised to see these two strangers, Kazama and Luffy, standing before him. He could also feel a powerful aura coming from Kazama. Although he couldn't pinpoint what that powerful force was, Zoro truly felt the pressure Kazama exerted. 

"We're here to save you, and we hope you'll become our nakama and join us as pirates!" 

"What?! Pirates? You're making me laugh!" Upon hearing Luffy's words, Zoro burst into wild laughter. 

"Listen, Straw Hat kid, don't you know who I am? I'm the famous Pirate Hunter, Zoro! I specialize in taking pirate heads for bounties! And you want me to join your pirate crew? That's hilarious!" 

"There are good pirates and bad pirates; don't generalize!" Luffy immediately retorted to Zoro with a serious expression, hearing his mockery. 

"Alright, stop wasting my time. If you really want me to become your nakama, then get my swords back for me. Maybe then I'll agree to your request!" Zoro's move was a delaying tactic, just something he blurted out because he couldn't be bothered with Luffy and Kazama. Besides, his swords were inside the Marine fortress, which was heavily guarded, so Zoro figured Luffy and Kazama wouldn't be able to complete that task at all. 

But he didn't know that getting his swords back would be incredibly easy for Kazama.
