Alright guys, as of last night I have finished the content I had planned for update 1.6 of Twinewood however during playtesting I concluded that there simply wasn’t enough there to warrant an entire update. (Only around 30 minutes of new content…) When I made the plan I had just adopted the mindset to try out smaller, more frequent updates and unfortunately right afterwards I broke my arm which had quite the impact on development. If it had only been two or three weeks since the last update I feel as though a 30 minute update would have been acceptable but it's been a while now so I want to deliver you guys something more meaningful.
I’ve decided to continue working on update 1.6 to get even more content in there before I release it. I’m dropping the smaller, faster update idea entirely and continuing on with development to give you guys something that's actually worth downloading and playing each update.
To be honest I have no idea when 1.6 will be ready now so I’m not going to try and give any estimates but rest assured it will be sooner rather than later now I'm back in full health. It should be meaty with 500+ new renders, at least an hour of playtime, and also finally time for MC to get some proper action.
Thank you all so much for your continued support! Making this game is a super fun hobby for me and I absolutely love being able to tell a fun, lewd story with no censorship. As a little bit of compensation I’ve included some artwork I made of my adorable nudist gnome D&D character, Lillin Deeznuts, the druid who rejected material possessions to go and do mushrooms in the woods with nature. I’m still learning digital art but I think she looks pretty good.
