Chapter 131: Susano'o (Please Subscribe!)

Several ninjas were completely caught off guard by Zabuza Momochi's sudden act of murder.

After all, Zabuza had killed all his fellow candidates during his graduation exam, earning him a notorious reputation.

This was the man who forced the Hidden Mist Village to change its rules.

If you got on the wrong side of someone this ruthless, you'd never sleep soundly again.

Everyone fell silent for a moment.

Chojuro frowned as he walked over to Touji, staring at the water seeping from the walls with a worried expression.

"What now? We're trapped here," Chojuro said.

Although Touji could use his teleportation jutsu with spatial abilities to escape, even if he got out, a large number of troops were waiting outside to ambush him.

Plus, Yagura’s true strength hadn’t yet been revealed.

"Touji, why are your pupils white, and what’s that little red thing in them?" Fū asked curiously.

"Red thing?"

Touji's body suddenly trembled, and then excitement filled his heart.

It was Uchiha Shisui’s Sharingan, and not just any Sharingan—it was the Mangekyō Sharingan.

With the Mangekyō, he could use the incredibly powerful jutsu, *Susano’o*!

If he summoned Susano’o, the walls would be instantly shattered, and everyone could escape to confront Yagura.

However, Touji wasn’t ready to make his move just yet.

First, he needed to restore some chakra and get back to full strength to ensure he could fight effectively.

Second, he wanted to wait until the enemy was fatigued.

If he rushed out now, they'd be at their strongest and most alert.

Better to wait a few hours until everyone started to grow tired, then break out.

"Chojuro, can you contact Mei Terumi?"

"Are you trying to send her to her death?" Chojuro snorted, showing some displeasure.

Touji chuckled awkwardly.

Chojuro seemed to think Touji wanted Mei to come and save him, which, in this situation, would indeed be a suicide mission.

"No, I want you to tell Mei that we’ll launch an attack at noon. Hopefully, she can gather more clans to help us take down Yagura!" Touji said confidently.

"Take him down? We can’t even get out of here—how are we supposed to attack?" Chojuro questioned.

Touji smiled slightly, pointing to the ceiling.

"We’ll go out through there."

"Even though that’s an exit, this is a prison—it's not easy to break through," Chojuro said, shaking his head in frustration.

"Maybe I could do it," Fū said after a long silence, "but if I break through, I might lose control and attack you instead."

Touji quickly shook his head.

Releasing the Six-Tails might break the ceiling, but at such close range, they’d be the first ones to get attacked.

"You don’t need to worry about breaking through the ceiling. Chojuro, just focus on delivering the message!"

By noon, the sun was high in the sky.

Half of the guards were on their meal break, while the other half, having finished eating, were starting to doze off.

Even Yagura himself nearly nodded off several times.

"Lord Mizukage, Mei Terumi has rallied several clans and is gathering troops to attack us!"

"Mei Terumi is coming to rescue her lover, huh? Well, I’ll deal with them all at once!" Yagura sneered, his eyes filled with murderous intent.

"Prepare for battle!" Yagura ordered, tapping his cane on the ground as he stood up slowly.

At that moment, the ground began to tremble.

The Mist ninjas started panicking.

"Lord Mizukage is amazing! Just a light tap, and it caused an earthquake!"

"Lord Mizukage is so powerful! With this strength, we could easily unite the ninja world!"

"Lord Mizukage is incredible! A blue skeleton monster appeared with just a tap!"

"A blue skeleton monster?" Yagura was confused.

All he did was lightly tap the ground—how could there be such a reaction?

And what was this blue skeleton monster?

Turning his head, Yagura saw a massive skeleton emerging from the earth, completely wrapped in blue chakra.

For a moment, Yagura was stunned.

"That… that’s *Susano’o*! Get ready to fight!"

A chill ran down everyone's spine.

Susano’o was a jutsu unlocked only after the Uchiha clan’s Sharingan evolved into the Mangekyō.

It could summon a giant blue warrior.

Unlike summon creatures, which were independent beings with their own thoughts and fighting styles, Susano’o was fully controlled by its user, making it incredibly versatile.

As Susano’o emerged from the ground, more and more ninjas crawled out behind it.

"Damn it! It’s those prisoners!"

"Don’t worry—they don’t have enough ninja tools to be a threat!"

"Lord Mizukage, call for reinforcements now!"

Yagura glared coldly at Susano’o.

"Susano’o, huh? Let’s see if it can take on the Three-Tails!"

An orange chakra aura began to radiate from Yagura's body, and soon, three tails emerged behind him.

Yagura was no ordinary jinchuriki.

Other jinchuriki lost consciousness when they entered partial tailed-beast mode, allowing the tailed beast to take over.

But Yagura was a perfect jinchuriki, capable of controlling his transformation while suppressing the beast's violent instincts. Even in full Three-Tails form, he could still intervene.

"Come on, let’s see whose power is stronger—your Susano’o or my tailed-beast form!"

Seeing the three-tailed beast charging toward him, Touji frowned.

He didn’t have enough chakra to fully activate Susano’o, and even at its current level, he wouldn’t be able to sustain it for long.

But Yagura, in tailed-beast form, wasn’t giving him any time to deactivate Susano’o.

"Damn it! If you want to fight, let’s do this!"

Touji shouted, and the massive blue skeletal figure raised its gigantic fist and swung it toward Yagura.

Yagura’s speed was incredible, easily dodging the slow-moving fist.

But when Susano’o's fist slammed into the ground, it sent a massive shockwave rippling through the earth.

Yagura, mid-sprint, was flung into the air by the tremor.

Touji’s eyes lit up, and he immediately seized the opportunity, grabbing Yagura as he flew through the air.

For a moment, Yagura struggled desperately in Susano’o's grip.

But no matter how hard he fought, Susano’o’s hand didn’t budge an inch.

Touji tightened his grip even more.

"Yagura, die already!"

Chapter 132: Uchiha Obito's Invitation (Requesting Subscriptions!)

The grip of Susano'o tightened, contorting Kagekiya Yagura's facial features.

At that moment, Yagura's limbs began to swell and grow larger. The force of the transformation far surpassed that of Susano'o, forcing Touji to release his grip.

Once released, Yagura's body grew uncontrollably, towering far above Susano'o in no time.

"Three-Tails' true form!"

Touji gasped in shock. He hadn't expected the Three-Tails' full transformation to occur.

Though Yagura was known as a perfect Jinchuriki, able to fully control a partial transformation, in a full tailed-beast form, his influence over the Three-Tails was minimal.

The Three-Tails, now in its wild form, became more savage.

With just a flick of its tail, several ninjas were sent flying.

Most of these were Yagura's subordinates.

"Everyone, run! We can't deal with this!"

The ninjas who had escaped the prison lost their fighting spirit upon seeing the Three-Tails, scattering in all directions.

Even the Anbu of the Hidden Mist hesitated, torn between continuing the battle and fleeing.

At that moment, Touji, the largest target, became the Three-Tails' first focus.

To the beast, the other ninjas looked like ants, while Touji, although smaller, seemed like a worthy opponent.

The Three-Tails charged straight at Touji.

In an instant, Touji found himself tightly wrapped by the beast's three tails, and unhealthy sounds began emanating from Susano'o.

"Damn it, if this keeps up, Susano'o will break!"

Touji looked grimly at the giant face in front of him. If he had more chakra, he could summon the complete form of Susano'o, giving him various combat options.

But for now, his Susano'o was only half-formed, with no skin or armor, unable to show its full power.

"Give it up, kid. In my tailed-beast form, I am invincible!" Yagura boasted with a triumphant smile.

Touji's face darkened, showing a hint of despair.

At that moment, Touji suddenly remembered.

Yagura's genjutsu had been broken using the Byakugan before.

If that's the case, maybe he could do it too!

With this thought, Touji quickly activated his Byakugan, focusing his vision on Yagura.

The once-laughing Yagura suddenly looked confused.

Even the Three-Tails' movements slowed down.

"What... am I doing?" Yagura mumbled in confusion.

The Three-Tails' massive form quickly began to shrink, returning to its human size.

Yagura fell to his knees, gasping for air.

As he recalled the things he'd done over the years, his face was full of regret and self-blame, as if he wanted to slap himself.

But Yagura had no time for that.

His mind was becoming increasingly foggy, as if he was about to fall under the control of the genjutsu again.

Yagura shouted at Touji, "Kid, kill me now!"

Touji was ecstatic.

He couldn't believe he'd actually broken the genjutsu.

Though calling it "broken" might be a stretch—it was more like temporarily sealing it.

Touji could clearly feel the seal on Yagura weakening.

Touji had never shown mercy to his enemies. He commanded Susano'o to strike down with a powerful blow.

Boom!

The ground trembled violently, and blood flowed outward.

Ding! Successfully killed Yagura! You may select any of Yagura's jutsu or items!

Yagura's Kyouka Suigetsu was undeniably impressive, even able to simulate the opponent's jutsu and attack strength. However, what Touji lacked most right now was chakra.

And the most direct way to gain chakra was by absorbing a tailed beast.

With the Three-Tails right in front of him, how could Touji resist?

"Choose the Three-Tails!"

Ding! Three-Tails selected! You have acquired the Three-Tails!

Ding! Since the host selected a conscious entity, the system is erasing its memories.

Touji was overjoyed.

Previously, he'd been worried that after copying the tailed beast, its will might control his body and consciousness.

He didn't want to end up like Gaara, sleepless and with dark circles under his eyes.

Unexpectedly, the system resolved all those issues in one step.

Touji felt a surge of power filling his body, twisting and expanding within him.

His nearly depleted chakra was instantly replenished, spreading through every meridian in his body.

The previously incomplete Susano'o suddenly grew larger.

Not only did it form legs, but its muscles and armor fully materialized.

Susano'o even held a long sword, appearing majestic and imposing.

After about thirty seconds, Touji finally emerged from the pain.

Although the pain was more intense than before, the rewards were unprecedented.

His chakra had multiplied many times over.

Now Touji could casually wield the Chidori while leisurely chatting with his enemies.

At that moment, Touji noticed a figure crouching beside Yagura's body.

The figure was dressed in a black robe with red clouds—clearly a member of the Akatsuki.

Touji's heart sank.

Every member of the Akatsuki was dangerous. Even if their strength wasn't overwhelming, they had strange abilities.

A careless move could cost your life.

The figure took out a scroll and, after making some seals, pulled a shadowy form from Yagura's body and sealed it inside the scroll.

"Phew, almost messed that up!"

Hearing that voice, Touji's heart skipped a beat.

"Uchiha Obito!"

Obito was the mastermind behind the Akatsuki, possessing immense power. Touji knew he couldn't afford to provoke him now.

Moreover, dealing with someone like Obito, who was always scheming, meant constant vigilance. One slip, and you'd be in trouble.

Obito stood up slowly and turned to face Touji.

"Wow! A fully formed Susano'o. Impressive, senpai! Interested in joining the Akatsuki?" Obito asked, staring through his mask at Touji.

Noticing the tomoe in Touji's Byakugan, Obito frowned.

"What's up with your eyes, senpai?"

Touji hesitated. Obito was infamous for taking eyes, and once he targeted them, you wouldn't be able to sleep soundly.

Quickly, Touji deactivated his Byakugan.

"You want me to join the Akatsuki?"

Chapter 133: Joining the Akatsuki Organization (Please Subscribe!)

"That's right, Shunxi Shadow Touji defected from Konoha Village not long ago. Our Akatsuki organization doesn't care about your past crimes—once you're here, you're a brother!" Uchiha Obito said with a friendly smile.

Touji sneered inwardly.

"Once you're here, you're a brother? What do you think this is, the Sand Village?"

Moreover, the Akatsuki Organization was a scam from the beginning, deceiving people into hunting the tailed beasts to fulfill Uchiha Obito's desires.

But what Uchiha Obito didn't know was that, while he played the role of the mantis stalking the cicada, behind him stood the hunter.

[Ding! Uchiha Obito! Favorability increased by 50 points! You can now sign in!]

[Favorability at 50 points unlocked: Uchiha Body Slam!]

[Favorability at 60 points unlocked: Uchiha Counter!]

[Favorability at 70 points unlocked: Uchiha Flame Formation!]

[Favorability at 80 points unlocked: Earth Hiding Dragon Technique!]

[Favorability at 90 points unlocked: Sharingan!]

[Favorability at 100 points unlocked: Izanagi! Reward: All the Tailed Beasts! Infinite Sign-In Activated (Sign-in interval: 7 days!)]

Touji couldn't help but twitch at the corner of his mouth when he saw the first reward.

"Turns out that move actually exists. Sasuke Uchiha wasn't just messing around."

He couldn't help but wonder if there was also an "Uchiha Cliff Jump" or "Uchiha Dance."

Except for the body slam, the other rewards were pretty good. If he could get them all, maybe he wouldn't have to hold back anymore.

"Sign in with Uchiha Obito!"

[Ding! Successfully signed in with Uchiha Obito! Reward: Transformation Technique! Favorability increased by 5 points! Current favorability: 55 points!]

[Ding! Since you've already obtained the Transformation Technique, its lower level version has been upgraded!]

Touji sighed helplessly.

He was a bit disappointed not to draw one of those hidden godly techniques, but gaining the Transformation Technique wasn't bad.

Now, Touji felt he had a deeper understanding of the Transformation Technique.

No longer focusing solely on appearance, he paid more attention to mimicking the opponent's aura and movements.

He could even imitate their voice.

"So, what do you think? Want to join our Akatsuki Organization?" Uchiha Obito urged.

Touji frowned and began to think.

Uchiha Obito's invitation to join Akatsuki definitely had ulterior motives.

However, Touji knew very well that Obito was also a pitiful figure.

His most beloved person was manipulated into death, and he didn't even have the right to die himself.

If Touji were to bring up these two points, Obito’s favorability would skyrocket.

However, Touji wasn't planning on revealing that just yet.

He had noticed a shadow hiding in the corner, observing everything.

If he spoke out, he would soon face Uchiha Madara.

Besides, if he revealed his secrets without earning enough favorability from Obito, it might not only fail to raise favorability but even put his life at risk.

Therefore, to gain Obito’s favor, he had to stay close to him.

"Alright, since I have nowhere else to go, I'll join Akatsuki."

For a moment, Uchiha Obito exaggeratedly laughed, flailing his arms like a lunatic.

"Great! Now I can officially join Akatsuki and partner up with you, Touji!"

Just then, Obito froze, then hurriedly continued, "Someone’s coming. I’ll leave for now. Whenever you're ready to come to Akatsuki, just contact me."

As he spoke, Uchiha Obito’s body gradually blurred and then disappeared.

*Kamui!*

A space-time ninjutsu, arguably the strongest defense technique.

Once inside, no matter how strong the ninjutsu, it couldn’t touch him.

After Obito left, Terumi Mei arrived with a large group, and they fell silent upon seeing the corpse of Yagura on the ground.

"Yagura is dead just like that?"

"This seemed easier than expected."

Terumi Mei rushed into Touji's arms, nuzzling against him like a cat.

"I'm so glad you're okay, Touji!"

Touji, uncharacteristically, didn't push her away but instead gently patted her head.

At that moment, a few clan leaders from Terumi Mei’s group stepped forward.

"Now that Yagura is dead, we need to quickly elect a new Mizukage."

Hearing this, Terumi Mei's eyes lit up. She quickly said, "Yagura was killed by Touji. I think he should be Mizukage, and I'll be his Mizukage wife!"

Touji started coughing uncontrollably upon hearing that.

Just as he was about to refuse, one of the clan leaders stepped forward and sneered.

"Anyone who can use Susanoo must be a Konoha spy. We should arrest him."

"Yes, the Sharingan of the Uchiha clan has immense research value."

"Even without him, we had enough strength to deal with Yagura. This kid just acted a bit faster!"

"Exactly, no way an outsider should become Mizukage!"

Hearing the clan leaders, Touji frowned.

Though his motives weren’t pure, he had still saved the Hidden Mist Village.

Yet these people were so quick to turn on him, even wanting to arrest him.

Some even seemed eager to gouge out his eyes.

"Touji helped free us from the Bloody Mist era, and now you want to arrest him? What are you thinking?" Chojuro frowned, knowing he couldn’t allow Touji, who had risked his life to save the village, to be captured.

"Who knows what his true motives are? After all, he’s a Konoha ninja," one of the clan leaders sneered.

"Yeah, people not of our clan can't be trusted!"

"I say we arrest him and take his eyes!"

As the clan leaders spoke, their ninjas surrounded Touji, closing in on him.

Terumi Mei’s fury flared.

"If any of you take a step closer, I won’t hold back!"

"Terumi Mei, don’t act foolishly!"

"Capture Touji, and we'll still recognize you as a Hidden Mist ninja. Your future will be bright!"

"Capture Terumi Mei as well and study her bloodline limit!"

Touji’s eyes turned cold, and an overwhelming killing intent radiated from him like a death god rising from the underworld.

Everyone instinctively shuddered, stepping back in fear, terror written on their faces.

Touji glanced around, then smiled.

"Who wants to kill me, arrest me, or take my eyes? Step forward! Let’s see just how strong the Hidden Mist clans really are. But first, you need to have the guts!"

*Chapter 134: The Fifth Mizukage (Please Subscribe!)*

With a furious roar from Touji, the crowd took another step back, their faces pale as if they had used a beauty filter set to the highest level.

"What are you scared of? There are only a few of them!"

"Exactly! And after fighting Yagura, that kid’s chakra must be exhausted. This is the perfect opportunity!"

"Capture the kid first, then we’ll compete for the Mizukage ourselves."

"I only want his eyes!"

For a moment, the group regained their courage, but this time, a hint of murderous intent flickered from everyone.

"Get him!"

With the command, everyone rushed towards Touji.

Water vapor in the air quickly condensed, and several water dragons emerged, flying toward Touji to attack.

Touji chuckled dryly as his chakra surged.

A faint blue chakra enveloped him, and a skeletal structure formed around him, followed by muscle, skin, and armor.

Finally, a giant stood before the group.

Everyone halted.

Susanoo wasn’t just a giant—it was a nearly invincible behemoth with both overwhelming offensive and defensive power.

As long as Touji stayed within Susanoo, he was almost untouchable.

Unless, of course, someone could shatter Susanoo.

Susanoo reached out with one hand, grabbing the largest water dragon and crushing it instantly.

"Don’t be scared! He’s just putting up a front. His chakra’s got to be running low!"

"Exactly! If we just wear him down, victory will be ours!"

"Capture him and take his eyes!"

Touji sneered as he looked at the crowd, then commanded Susanoo to draw its sword.

Even though Touji had absorbed the Three-Tails’ chakra, and no longer worried about running out of energy, the noisy crowd was starting to get on his nerves.

"If you all have a death wish, I’ll gladly grant it!"

With a cold snort, Touji commanded Susanoo to lower its stance and sweep the sword across the ground.

Wherever the blade passed, all the ninjas were wiped out, like chalk being erased from a blackboard.

After just two strikes, more than half of the ninjas were gone.

Those who remained were paralyzed with fear, trembling on the ground.

"Who said my chakra was running out?"

"So this is Susanoo? How can this power even be human?"

"Looks like we won’t be getting those eyes after all."

At that moment, Susanoo began to vanish, and Touji walked towards the remaining ninjas with a mocking smile.

"So, still think you can capture me?"

The crowd shook their heads frantically, wishing they could run away as fast as possible.

"We wouldn’t dare! We fully support you becoming the Mizukage!"

"Yes! Lord Touji for Mizukage!"

"Lord Touji, can I at least see your eyes?"

Touji looked at the cheering crowd, sneering once more.

"I’m not going to be the Mizukage."

The crowd’s eyes lit up.

If Touji wasn’t interested in becoming the Mizukage, then the clan leaders still had a chance. The fear on their faces quickly turned to excitement.

"Lord Touji is a true man, a hero of the Mist Village!"

"Yes, a true hero!"

"Hold on, let me finish." Touji interrupted the flattery, lowering his voice, "All the clan leaders who just attacked me—commit seppuku! Or I’ll take Susanoo on a little stroll through your clans!"

At his words, everyone trembled.

They knew all too well what a "stroll" through their clans would mean.

But they couldn’t believe Touji was being this aggressive, demanding the clan leaders to take their own lives.

As the crowd hesitated, Chojuro closed his eyes.

Though Touji’s actions would deal a significant blow to the Mist Village, Chojuro couldn’t find any reason to stop him.

After all, Touji had just defeated Yagura and saved the village.

And yet, instead of gratitude, the clan leaders only displayed their greed.

So Chojuro chose to keep his eyes closed.

"Hurry up and commit seppuku! What’s more important, your life or your clan?"

"Yeah, the clans have supported you all this time, and now they need you to contribute. Why are you hesitating?"

As internal conflicts erupted among the clans, a slight smile appeared on Touji’s face.

He hadn’t wiped them all out for this exact reason.

After all, these clan leaders loved to manipulate others. Now it was time for them to experience what it felt like to be questioned by their own people.

This was Touji’s way of giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Eventually, one clan leader fell in a pool of blood—not by his own hand, but by the very people of his clan.

"Good. Who’s next?"

With Touji’s approval, the remaining clan members rushed toward their own leaders.

Before long, all the clan leaders were dead.

The surviving ninjas now looked at Touji with hope in their eyes.

"Very well. I won’t be the Mizukage, but if anyone dares provoke me, they’d better be ready to die." As Touji spoke, he pushed Mei Terumi forward. "From today on, Mei Terumi will be your Mizukage—your Fifth Mizukage!"

Though the crowd was reluctant, no one dared challenge Touji now.

After all, if anyone angered Touji, he could just use Susanoo to wreck their clan. Who could withstand that?

Chojuro, meanwhile, looked at Touji in surprise.

He had assumed Touji’s earlier refusal to become Mizukage was just talk, and had even been ready to start calling him Mizukage.

But what happened next stunned Chojuro.

Touji had actually announced Mei Terumi as the Mizukage.

Though Mei Terumi had a close relationship with Touji and often followed his orders, at least she was from the Mist Village, born and raised there.

Compared to Touji, Mei Terumi was a far better choice.

"I support Mei Terumi as the Fifth Mizukage!" Chojuro stepped forward and declared.

With Chojuro leading the way, others quickly followed, and soon everyone was voicing their support for Mei Terumi.

Mei’s face lit up with surprise, followed by a radiant smile.

"Since you all support me, I’ll accept the role of Fifth Mizukage!"

Confidence radiated from Mei’s face as she walked over to Touji.

"Now that I’m the Mizukage, I’m going to issue my first decree!"

Hearing this, everyone held their breath.

Mei Terumi had a fierce reputation, and if her first decree caused trouble, life could become very difficult.

Even Chojuro frowned in worry as he looked at her.

"My first decree is... to marry Touji!"

*Chapter 135: You're Not the First (Please Subscribe!)*

Early in the morning, before dawn, Touji was slowly walking along a tree-lined path.

Ever since Terumi Mei became the Mizukage, she had become more bold and unrestrained, constantly arranging private moments with him and even being physically affectionate at times.

After finishing his remaining tasks, Touji finally decided to leave the Hidden Mist Village.

Touji arrived at the agreed-upon pier.

Since the Hidden Mist Village was no longer closed off, the pier was bustling with activity.

On a small sailboat, Touji spotted a familiar figure.

“Hey, Touji! Over here!” Uchiha Obito shouted excitedly.

That one shout instantly caused a commotion at the busy pier.

Who was Touji? He was the guy who killed the Fourth Mizukage!

And more importantly, Touji was the fiancé of the Fifth Mizukage, Terumi Mei, who obeyed his every command.

He was practically second only to her in status!

Now that the Hidden Mist Village had just opened up, there were opportunities everywhere. If someone could get in Touji's good graces, they could definitely gain some big advantages in the days to come.

“Lord Touji, look, these are ninja tools from the Land of Fire. Would you like to take a set back and try them out?”

“Lord Touji, here’s an explosive tag I brought from the Land of Rain. Would you like to take one to test?”

“Lord Touji, this is my daughter from the Land of Lightning. How about you take her back and give her a try?”

Touji’s mouth twitched, and he quickly jumped onto the sailboat that Obito had prepared.

“Let’s go!”

“Got it!”

The sailboat glided smoothly onto the sea, and finally, it was peaceful.

But Uchiha Obito was not one to stay quiet, dancing around energetically on the small sailboat.

“Touji, we’ll soon arrive at the Akatsuki’s base, and then I can officially become a member of the Akatsuki!”

Touji discreetly activated his Byakugan, carefully scanning the surroundings. He didn’t find any trace of White Zetsu.

Lowering his voice, Touji said, “Uchiha Obito, stop pretending!”

Obito froze for a moment, then fell silent.

“Uchiha Obito? Is that who you think I am?”

“Are you still pretending? The mastermind behind the Akatsuki, Uchiha Obito!” Touji sneered.

Obito became unnervingly quiet, so much so that Touji felt a wave of discomfort, even sensing a bit of killing intent.

“Seems like you know quite a bit. But if you know, why agree to help me?” Obito’s voice turned dark, losing the playful tone.

Though Obito stood still, Touji could feel an overwhelming pressure emanating from him.

“I joined the Akatsuki to help you deal with Uchiha Madara!”

“Uchiha Madara!” Obito exclaimed in surprise.

Very few knew that Uchiha Madara was still alive, and even fewer knew that he was the true mastermind behind the Akatsuki.

Yet, here stood a twelve-year-old who knew all of it.

“You know, the more you know, the faster you die!” Obito’s voice grew colder.

Obito knew Madara wasn’t a good person, but he needed Madara’s help to achieve his own goals.

“I know, but there are things you don’t know. You’re being manipulated. Like that thing in your heart!” Touji smirked.

Obito’s body trembled.

To ensure Obito’s cooperation, Madara had implanted a device in Obito’s heart as a safeguard.

This device would limit all of Obito’s future actions. He couldn’t even commit suicide if he wanted to.

Only two people knew of this secret, but now Touji had revealed it.

“I’m very curious. What’s your point in telling me this?” Obito asked.

“I can help you remove it!” Touji said, removing his contact lenses to reveal his pure white Byakugan.

“What? You can remove the device?” Obito looked at Touji in disbelief.

Ever since the device had been implanted, Obito had hated the feeling of his life being in someone else’s hands.

Now, hearing that Touji could help remove it, how could he not be excited?

“Yes, and it’s quite simple. I’ll use Lightning Release to destroy it. Someone before you had the same thing implanted and used Lightning Release to remove it, but they failed because they were off by just a bit.”

Hearing this, Obito grabbed Touji’s shoulders tightly.

“Who was it?”

Although Obito had a guess, he didn’t want to believe it.

Because for her revenge, Obito had even killed his own teacher.

“You already know the answer, but you don’t want to accept it. Let me remove the device first, and then we’ll talk.”

At first, Obito didn’t want Touji to proceed. After all, Touji could easily kill him with a slight miscalculation.

But as Touji mentioned more, Obito began to believe him.

And only Touji, with his Byakugan, could precisely detect the device in his heart—and also knew how to use Lightning Release.

“Alright, do it!” Obito agreed.

*Ding! Uchiha Obito’s affection level has increased by five points! Current affection level: 60 points! You can now sign in!*

“Sign in to Uchiha Obito!”

*Ding! Uchiha Obito sign-in successful! You've acquired Uchiha Rebound! Affection level increased by four points! Current affection level: 64 points!*

Touji couldn’t help but smile.

He had learned Uchiha Rebound, but without the Uchiha clan’s fan weapon, it wasn’t of much use. He would have preferred Uchiha’s Body Slam technique instead.

“Alright, I’m about to start.”

“Go ahead. I don’t know why, but I feel a sense of familiarity with you. I feel like I can trust you,” Obito said with a smile.

Touji chuckled helplessly.

That wasn’t familiarity—it was the affection level system!

Touji briefly considered killing Obito. Doing so would earn him a significant reward and throw Uchiha Madara’s plans into chaos.

But he quickly dismissed the idea.

Even if Obito died, someone else would take his place. It would only create an uncontrollable storyline.

“After all, we both have Sharingan,” Touji said, his hand crackling with lightning as it struck the water below.

Suddenly, a large number of fish floated to the surface.

At that moment, Touji activated his Byakugan to its fullest extent and charged toward Obito.
