The gentle, moist scent of the sea lingered in the air, warm and soothing.

Half-asleep, Troy felt the bed swaying slightly, as if it were a boat rocking.

"Stop messing around..."

Eyes closed, brow furrowed, Troy instinctively reached out to pull someone into his embrace, spreading himself across the large bed.

Huh!?

Something's wrong!

I remember… I killed Kaido with a single strike!

In the next second, still dreaming, Troy suddenly jolted awake.

His deep brown eyes no longer reflected the dark abyss he'd seen before closing them, but instead, a strange brown wooden wall.

Troy propped himself up.

He noticed that every inch of exposed skin was wrapped in bandages, not even a single finger was spared.

His eyes scanned the room—a simple and clean small cabin, with wooden walls, the faint smell of sea salt and antiseptic lingering in the air. It wasn’t unpleasant.

Bright sunlight streamed in through a square window, casting soft golden beams into the room. Outside, there was only a vast expanse of blue.

"I’ve been saved..."

Troy quickly came to that conclusion.

From the slight rocking of the bed, he could tell he was still on a ship!

"It's the Navy!"

With that second conclusion, Troy, feeling like he had finally found a trustworthy organization, relaxed completely, sinking back into the bed. After days of tension, his nerves finally relaxed.

Only then did Troy start to feel the ache in his limbs and the hunger gnawing at him from deep inside.

He was in pain, and starving!

But oddly enough, not in as much pain as he expected.

He was definitely starving, though.

Suppressing the hunger for now, Troy raised his bandaged hand and flexed his fingers a few times.

His right hand was fine.

So was his left.

"I remember before I passed out, Kaido smashed me into the ground with that spiked club of his...

"I should’ve been completely crushed, right? All my bones broken, my tendons severed...

"So why do I feel like I’ve just missed a few meals?

"How long have I been out?"

Troy had questions, but no one around to answer them.

Instead of getting out of bed immediately, his mind flashed back to his recent experiences on Zombie Island, and he summoned the familiar light screen.

The sheer amount of new information on the screen was shocking.

Troy’s eyes lit up as he scanned through the changes, excited about how much stronger he had become.

The most thrilling part for Troy, though, was that he had finally figured out how to regularly acquire new entries from the light screen!

The screen’s message was clear.

"Summarize your experiences," and you can "consolidate new entries!"

"Ah..."

Troy let out a long breath, finally feeling like he was more than just an ordinary fisherman living off his fishing skill.

"Come to think of it, getting smashed by Kaido and gaining all these abilities wasn’t a bad trade!

"But the ‘certain individuals’ mentioned in the ‘Defeated by the Emperor’ entry seem a bit concerning...

"Is being beaten by one of the Four Emperors a prerequisite for becoming a Warlord of the Sea?

"The two longest-standing members of the Warlords—Crocodile and Moria—both seem to fit this pattern. Crocodile lost his hand to Whitebeard and became disillusioned, while Moria’s entire crew was wiped out in Wano, and he turned into a recluse...

"Whatever, no point worrying about that now!"

Troy closed the panel and rubbed his grumbling stomach.

Surviving a beating from Kaido, being wrapped head-to-toe in bandages, and still having this much energy—there’s no doubt that his EX-level talent, ‘Savage Body,’ was at work!

Crack, crack!

Troy climbed out of bed, stretched his stiff neck, and walked toward the door.

"This EX-grade talent I fished up sure is strong! Plus, I don’t have the usual sea-water weakness!

"In other words, I’ve got recovery powers on par with the main characters.

"No matter how intense the fight, just sleep and eat, and I’m good to go!

"You’ve got the golden legs—I’ve got the iron head—invincible iron head!"

Before Troy could reach the door, it opened from the outside.

A girl entered, accompanied by the refreshing sea breeze.

Under the blue-and-white Navy recruit cap was a striking cascade of straight, light pink hair. Her fair, delicate face was adorned with a pair of deep, dark eyes. Beneath her pristine Navy uniform was a well-proportioned figure, and her short white shorts revealed long, snow-white legs.

Troy immediately fell silent, looking toward the door and blinking in recognition, though he wasn’t entirely sure who she was.

Fortunately, the girl spoke first, her voice soft and charming.

"Oh? You’re awake? Tina is glad. Instructor Zephyr mentioned that I should bring you to him as soon as you woke up."

"Hello, Miss Tina," Troy replied, pretending to be confused. "But who is Instructor Zephyr?"

"Instructor Zephyr is the head of the Navy recruit training camp and a former admiral of the Navy. Tina admires him greatly," she said without hiding her admiration. "He’s also the one brought you to the training camp."

Hearing this, Troy lowered his gaze, his eyes flickering slightly.

Zephyr didn’t see me as just a 'wounded soldier,' but actually wanted to 'bring me into the training camp'?
