**Chapter 1: Lady Luck Says "Hahahahaha..." **

“Kaido-sensei, may you die a terrible death!”

In the Paradise phase, on the north side of a small island, on the streets of a gloomy medieval town covered in dark clouds.

With a heartfelt "blessing," an old, blood-soaked hammer stained dark red swung through the air, the sharp, blood-reeking nails accurately hitting the forehead of a ferocious zombie, who had been baring its fangs.

 Thud!
The dull sound of metal colliding with bone echoed, and the zombie fell instantly.

The undead had returned to being... dead.

Wearing the **F-level Item: Gas Mask**, Troy shook off the foul blood and brain matter sticking to his hammer, casually made an imperfect “inverted cross” sign over his chest, as if mourning Kaido-sensei's seventh day since passing.

At the same time, three lines of phantom text flashed in the corner of Troy's vision.

**[You have killed a zombie with an overall rating of F!]**

**[The passive effect of EX-level skill *Fishing* has activated!]**

**[You have obtained an F-level "Victory Bait." Using this bait, you can fish from the Dimensional Sea for F-level or lower talents, abilities, information, or other miscellaneous items.]**

Troy had no time to pay attention to these lines of peculiar text, as a dragon’s roar, loud enough to split the sky, suddenly exploded in his ears.

 “Roar—!”

The deafening dragon's roar, like the clashing of metal and jade, shook the sky, causing the thick clouds above the town to scatter slightly.

 “Damn you, Lady Luck!”

Feeling thoroughly annoyed, Troy rubbed his ears, raised his head, and looked toward the distant sky where the black clouds churned. He defiantly raised his middle finger—his formidable "Great Desolation Imprisoning Sky Finger"—high into the air.

In the roiling black clouds above, a massive serpentine dragon’s body, blue-green and menacing, slowly revealed itself. Its hard, diamond-shaped scales gleamed coldly as they reflected the light from the clash of fiery clouds and white lightning.

**Fish-Fish Fruit: Mythical Zoan Type: Azure Dragon Form!**

What kind of tragic experience is it to cross into the world of *One Piece* only to immediately encounter Kaido?
But this wasn’t even the worst part.

Suddenly, a massive, overwhelming force from an unknown source struck the mythical dragon in the sky.

With Troy's sharp eyes, he could only faintly glimpse a small black shadow flashing in the sky.

This terrifying power struck the dragon, forcing it to fall a bit from the sky. The blue-green body, which had been hidden in the clouds, was now exposed, revealing two massive crossed scars on its bright yellow belly!

Enraged by the blow, the Azure Dragon opened its massive jaws, and from between its jagged teeth, a stream of scorching dragon's breath erupted. The deep clouds were torn apart by this crimson blaze that lit up the entire sky.

However, this fiery dragon's breath, capable of melting gold and stone, had no effect. Instead, it was shattered by a single punch from the one responsible for the immense force. The dragon's breath exploded like a wave crashing against an immovable rock, creating a massive display of fire and light.

In the sky, a dazzling explosion burst forth—a "Super Invincible Splendid Firework" courtesy of Kaido!
The scattering blaze rained down like a meteor shower, turning the dark sky a glowing red.

This was a battle of titans!
A clash of *Emperors of the Sea*!

What could be more terrifying than encountering one *Emperor of the Sea* right after crossing over?
Encountering two, and seeing them locked in an intense battle!

 “*@#&! (probably censored swearing)”

Troy spat on the ground, his chest puffing up as the filtered air from his **Gas Mask** rushed into his lungs. Oxygen flowed through his bloodstream, filling his muscles with explosive energy, especially his legs.

 “Beast Breathing—Eighth Form: Beast Charge!”

Two streams of white mist shot out from the gas mask's filters—concentrated breaths of air.
Leaning forward, Troy bolted. Like a wild beast running for its life, he sprinted towards his “nest” at full speed.

Along the way, the "beast" had to constantly adjust its position to avoid the falling "meteor firestorm."

"Beast Kaido, some unknown top-tier fighter, a ruined island full of zombies...
"Lady Luck’s great flood! What kind of messed-up world did I cross into—oh crap!”

 Boom—

Just as Troy stepped onto a street, his foot abruptly halted. He witnessed with his own eyes as the makeshift hideout he'd painstakingly built over the past three days was obliterated by a falling "meteor."

The building was now a massive flaming torch, the intense shockwave of the explosion nearly knocking Troy off his feet.

“Kaido-sensei, you really deserve the worst!”

Grinding his teeth, Troy immediately turned around. Luckily, he had a backup hideout—though if that one was destroyed too, he had a “backup for the backup” just in case of situations like this.

When you accidentally stumble into a battlefield between two Emperors, you always need to be mentally prepared to lose something!

 Five minutes later.

Expressionless, Troy stared at his "backup hideout," now consumed by flames.

It seemed he would have to retreat to his "backup for the backup."

The third hideout was actually the hidden cellar in the backyard of a wealthy family’s mansion within the town. This was the most secure and hidden "nest" Troy had prepared during the past three days.

Pulling open the cellar door and descending underground, the exhausted Troy didn’t even turn on the lights before collapsing onto the floor.

The overuse of **Beast Breathing** had left his lungs and legs feeling as though they were being torn apart, but he remained silent.
It wasn’t because he was tough, but because he had been in similar situations too often over the past three days—he was numb to the pain.

 Time passed in the darkness.

He didn’t know how long it had been.

The surviving Troy struggled to get up, fumbling in the dark to turn on the cellar lights. He pulled off his **Gas Mask**, revealing a tired but undeniably handsome face.

Walking over to a corner of the cellar, he flopped down on a soft leather sofa, grabbed a bottle of fine red wine from the wealthy family’s cellar, and downed it in one gulp. The red liquid spilled from his lips, dripping down his jaw and soaking his chest.

 "Ahh—"

After finishing half the bottle, Troy finally felt alive again.

The rough drinking soon turned into a more delicate sipping.

Troy took a small sip, then summoned his "golden finger," the source of the strange text he had seen during the battle—a pale white, virtual screen!

Displayed on the screen were Troy’s personal stats.
