Tutorial: Trefoil Medallion
Added 2025-10-02 20:00:08 +0000 UTCThis lovely, flat decorative knot brings lines together on one side and distributes them at an angle on the other. It similar to the Double Coin Knot, but has three lobes instead of two.
It can be used as a decorative crossing hitch if the ropes are not under too much tension. It can be done with a single rope folded in half, or with two or three ropes in parallel, which would allow you to explore varying colors!
