TheDuchy: Maintenance this Monday (Jan 6)

Over the past few months, I have been working with a developer to update TheDuchy. These updates should help fix performance and functionality issues that have cropped up over the years and put us on a firm foundation on which to build more improvements.
TheDuchy will be down beginning Monday, Jan 6, at 8pm Chicago Time (GMT-0600). It will be down several hours while we complete the upgrade work and test all the key features.
Once the update is done, you may notice a few small changes in how things work, but it should be mostly what you have come to expect, just quite a lot faster. It will also have a functioning bookmark and likes feature! After we have let this new version run for awhile and confirmed things are solid, we can look at improvements to the UI and other suggestions you have made.
We will update this message when the work is complete.
As you use the site after the update, please let me know here in the comments if you find any bugs or things aren't working as you expect.
I say this at the end of almost every message, but I always mean it. We could not do what we are doing without your support. Thank you.

Update: It looks like we have successfully completed the update to the new code base! Things should look mostly like they did yesterday, but the site should be significantly faster and more stable! If you see anything odd as you use the site over the next few days, please let me know! We added a new feature: A page where you can see your Bookmarks & Favorites! You can find it under More > Bookmarks & Favorites Or at this link: https://www.theduchy.com/bookmarks/ We added some new languages and put them in order of how many people on our site are using that language :) But aside from that this update was more about setting ourselves up for easier growth. This should provide the foundation for more improvements in the future. Thanks everyone! Lazarus
