New HR Loop Poll: which power-up you want?

Heya everyone,

Here's the new Hundred Reigns loop poll, posted early to keep the ending of the Church of Stars a secret (there's still a few chapters left but shush...) and give you time to think over the options ;) all the current options focus on gaining either a power boost or Crestone, but next poll should include some of the unlocked 'Public Overlord' reigns unlocked earlier.

As usual, this reign will close when the Church of the Stars conclude, and I will see you in a few hours for the next chapter. Cheers ;)

1) Casval Delenda Est: Determined to both get his hands on Gargauth’s Abyssal Chronicle and to dismantle Vouivre’s organization, Simon joins her as a Tellurian warlord. He soon discovers that draconic family dynamics can become a little more complicated than expected, and that Gargauth left quite a lot to his heirs…

Includes: Casval & Vouivre ‘friendship’, dragon cuisine, orc/shifter warlord Simon, Berserker Crestone acquisition, Beast Class Crestone & Gargauth’s hoard location.

Length: Medium (months to a year)

Unlocks: The Hoard of Gargauth, The Beast King, The Sanctuary in the Sky.

2) The Overlord of Crime: Having glimpsed at Silk & the Prince of Spiders’ secrets, and eager to get his hands on their Zodiac Fiend crystal, Simon joins the Cobweb syndicate as the Overlord of Crime. Put in charge of a chapter of the global organization, Simon slowly unravels their web… and the shadow behind it all.

Contains: Criminal Mastermind Simon, Prince of Spiders’ real identity and motives, location of multiple Zodiac Fiends & Noble Crestone, Silk ‘romance.’

Length: Medium (months to a year)

Unlocks: The Pirate King, The Crafter’s Tower, The Jungles of Uyo, The Sanctuary in the Sky.

3) The Cocagne Affair: Set on both investigating Norbelle and getting his hands on the Mage Crestone, Simon joins his half-sister in her secret takeover of the Queendom of Cocagne. What he finds is a prosperous kingdom under the fairest Mage in the land, and perhaps, a new place to call home…

Contains: New spells, political intrigue, Norbelle shenanigans, new mentor, friends & romance options, chance to consume the Mage Crestone Perk.

Length: Medium (months to a year)

Unlocks: Simon the Archmage, The Unicorn Overlord.

4) The Queen in Crimson: Intent on unlocking his latent Visionary and Darkblood potential, Simon enters Justine Eligos’ service as a diabolist in training. Now splitting his time before summoning demons and entertaining his new eccentric mistress, Simon is finally free to explore his secondary passion: theater. The world is not yet ready for impresario Simon…

Contains: New rituals, diabolism, and performance spells, visionary/darkblood latent power unlock, lore of the Abyss, Necromancer, Monk & Bard Crestone locations, and an orgy.

Length: medium (months)

Unlocks: The Pirate King, The Song of Bujan, Blades of the Orient.

5) The World of Ruins: In an attempt to learn more about the timeloop gone wrong, Simon finds himself waking up in the far future, in a ruined land drowning in miasma and monsters. As he investigates what caused this terrible future of despair, Simon sets out to teach the locals that the real demon is there to take back his Crimson Throne.

Contains: A post-apocalyptic, demon world rip for the tearing, intel on the Zodiac Fiends, the Mana Goddess, and the reigns, levels, and violence. Lots of violence.

Length: Short (a glorious blaze of a reign)

Unlocks: the Sanctuary in the Sky, The Lost Gods.

Comments

The World of Ruins being a demon world "rip for the tearing" is a nice pun of ripe for the taking + rip and tear

SoulCaptain

Well... at one point Casval Delenda Est will probably change into an open warlord reign where Simon becomes Vouivre's partner rather than her subordinate XD we'll see

Void Herald

At this rate, the Casval route just won't happen in the story, lmao. Honestly, he and his sister are really not that interesting. Norbelle, on the other hand, is one of the most fun characters so far. And no, Cocagne totally makes sense story-wise. Simon NEEDS to know how Norbelle's visions work and if she can glimpse into his reigns, as well as to learn how to manipulate her / befriend her in future loops. If he learns how to make her his ally, it would be a huge boost as she's one of the most influential / powerful characters, as well as one of those who doesn't hate him guts or obsessed with power. From what we saw so far, she probably won't even rat him out or kill him even if she knew he's Overlord, but would rather use it for her own goals. And just like Shabram she has a grasp of the "precognitive" powers of his class, understanding that he's better as an ally than an enemy (unless she believes that she's the only one worthy of the class as a super duper genius, but I doubt she wants to deal with the responsibility like that). But I personally voted for the World of Ruins, just for the sake of pacing. It would've been a fun distraction between longer routes, but it seems it's unlikely to happen.

ConstanTeen

Cocagne looks soooo good but Queen in Crimson would be perfect storywise unless this arc ends WAAAY differently than expected.

Saddy Storm

While I agree it was rigged, I like the polls cause they’re fun, we’ll get to the Queen in Crimson soon enough even though it does make more sense to finish the Visionary stuff next reign story wise but learning more about Norbelle, who seems to be growing as a threat and person of interest is also a great idea

Brahman Brahman

The poll was really rigged a lot by being released straight after the chapter with Norbelle, even though the Cocagne route doesn’t make any sense story wise for now. Much better to release the poll at the end like it used to be, or not use the poll at all. People are mostly not going to step back and change their vote after it has already been cast

Myrdin

But the Cocagne doesn’t make sense storywise, because Simon doesn’t know anything about it and getting the crestone could take a lot of time for all he knows. Queen in Crimson is simply the smoothest, most logical next reign

Myrdin

This would require getting it from the queen of Cocagne which is not going to be easy and may take many reigns to accomplish. Getting the dark visionary powers with help of Justine Eligos is much easier and unlocks his own latent powers rather than external power or a crestone that he doesn’t know about

Myrdin

I want to see the dark side of Simon, see him cut loose and take pleasure in the chaos!

Chaos Beyond the Void

Fingers crossed for the visionary stuff in Queen of Crimson next time around. That's going to reveal a LOT going forward. That said I'm super excited to see what devouring the Mage crestone will get.

Duesal Bladesinger

Havent voted yet, but using the phrase "Norbelle shenanigans" is practically an attempt to rig the poll

Nifemi Ogundare

and a what now?

Jomi

Barely even a decision gotta be the Norbelle route

glare31337

I voted for the Queen in Crimson because I want to resolve this visionary stuff first before we move on.

Will

I was gonna go all in on Casval delenda est but Unicorn Overlord sounds too cool to resist 😂

Calossus

Sigh, will we ever see the cursed Vouivre ship set off from port? I voted for Cocagne tho.

Skinnybonz

Honestly the Cobwebs organization continues to drive me up the wall and I feel that Overlord of Crime has been an option for too long.

Tylena Simmonds

Can't we have the orgy in Cocagne? Jokes aside, lord of crime looks to be a good followup after this reign. Not a small chance that they will meet pirates at sea and the crime syndicate might have lots of relevant knowledge.

gostsamo

I'm honestly voting for The Cocagne Affair because it's my next favorite pick after The Queen in Crimson and seems more likely to win. Magic ftw! I guess either first has advantages. Cocagne first makes sense because consuming a Mage Perk could let him use mana spells, which may be critical for fully unlocking his latent visionary and darkblood abilities. Crimson first would also make sense as being able to see mana and miasma would probably help with learning spells.

Flufflez

I desperately want to know what the hell is up with Silk, but I also respectfully and suspiciously squint my eyes at "Unicorn Overlord." I see you.

Matthew Wilmsmeyer

I don't get how Queen of Crimson is still losing in the polls. The reign should've been done long ago to wrap up the whole visionary stuff. At this point I don't even want to hear anything about visionaries anymore because it is genuinely annoying when I know nothing would get revealed.

Abdilaahi Abdirahmaan

i think by this logic he should do all the others before world of ruin, that one sounds like one he’d need notable levels and power for

Noah

I agree. No orgie unless its all women. >.> which I doubt it will be here.

Diego Urbina

The real reason is that he's lusting after that warlock, guys.

Sean Krkovich

I'm kind of concerned about Simon combining all his powers into a singularly effective combat style. It's really boring when the protagonist just has everything. I prefer it when he has a specialized fighting style.

Sean Krkovich

The Queen in Crimson seems like the best pick to wrap up Simon’s latent powers arc after the Church. I think the Cocagne Affair is the most interesting, but we can circle back to it after Queen in Crimson. The World of Ruin is really cool, and the level progression works best if we do it before an open Overlord reign. I’m super interested in the Casval Warlord reign, but it doesn’t really fit to return to Telluria after this arc. Overlord of Crime feels like a canon arc we need to complete in order to deal with the Zodiacs, so I’m fine saving it for later. Since we are no where near ready to fight the zodiacs. I think the best path is: Queen in Crimson → Cocagne → World of Ruin → Casval Warlord → open Overlord run, to maximize levels and power gains before openly ruling.

Roman

I think strategically Simon is the kind of guy who would go for the mage class first and then go back to do the other stuff

james apfel

Please, The Queen in Crimson, he’ll finally get his third eye or whatever is equivalent, he might be able to bind Zodiac Fiends if he gets the right perk

Brahman Brahman

Why are all the elections so difficult?

alejandrox

More norbelle please

adaira

Let's unlock latent talents. Blood for the Crimson Queen!

Publius Decius Mus

I want the world of ruins so bad it hurts. But Simon needs to be a bit stronger for it.

Armo

Getting dark visionary powers from the Queen in Crimson is absolutely paramount, regardless if this route is less interesting than something like World in Ruins. The powers will be incredibly beneficial in all other reigns. Delaying getting them is simply stupid, especially when we learn so much about dark and light in this reign. It is the logical next step. I really don’t like that you are allowing us to choose the sequence of reigns, because some important ones are going to be pushed indefinitely and going back to them later on will not be smooth at all.

Myrdin

Nah the other way around cogane affair then world of ruins cause we all know Simon is getting his heart wrecked out there and will need an outlet in world of ruins also he will be an arch mage so he will have some new moves out there

ImYou

Jesus. They're all good. I kind of want blaze of Glory because levels lol. Still I hope we get them all.

Diego Urbina

And pls no orgies that shi is weird

ImYou

Next one definitely the world of ruins

ImYou

That world of ruins description my god. I want that so bad but everything else is so interesting too.

Aaron Hicking

With the recent norbelle revelation, she'd likely be a priority in the next reign.

MockingBird

So many good options! Gonna go with the Mage choice though, the possibility to use both mana and miasma is too good.

Erik

I just want to see my dear Casval again 😭. Unicorn Overlord sounds very interesting however.

Hive Tyrant

Surely we would want mage before we tried something like world of ruins

FuriousDee

At the moment Norbelle’s potential to just have a vision that he is the overlord is a much bigger threat. We need to investigate her. Though it is a shame to do so before unlocking visionary potential.

FuriousDee

I honestly think Overlord of Crime would be the most logical choice from Simons POV, but it looks like I'm in the minority. Cobweb keeps appearing everywhere, and they seem to always aim for the release (and control) of the zodiac fiends, and so they end up in opposition of Simon. They need to be dealt with so his reign experiments can become less chaotic. Side benefit, Cobweb knowledge should help him squeeze out more benefits from the favor they owe the Overlord.

Daniel Pataki

Cocagne sounds the most interesting but interacting more with Norbelle before getting a better understanding of visionary/darkblood interactions seems like a throw.

Tagenall

VIOLENCE

Yozora

World of ruin into cocagne into Crimson into crime overlord Lest get world of ruins out of the way and gain levels and Strength for the Next ones. After that he gets the mage creststone and will be ready to Battle thalas and louis

Puri Iresan

I think it’s finally time for the Overlord of crime. The Spider is everywhere and it seems like Simon has to deal with them to get anything important done. Not to mention he clearly doesn’t like them. Time to neuter them just like Malphas’ conspiracy

Roden

I'm thinking World of Ruins then right after the Cocagne Affair, but if we're going by a more logical progression of events right now, I'd say it should go The Queen in Crimson (or maybe Overlord of Crime depending on how Simon reacts to Silk always being there to fuck something up), The World of Ruins (if after Queen in Crimson), Cocagne (if he doesn't get enough answers from the Queen in Crimson loop)

Fog Witch, Bringer of Rats

My thinking is this. Queen Crimson into Ruin world. Queen Crimson seems like a relatively peaceful reigin that would still make him stronger and realize his visionary potential. Then Ruin world for levels so Simon can have more agency in future reigns. Making the other options far better for information gathering. (Plus I wanna see Simon punch that dragon warlord in the face!)

James

There are simply to many good options!!! Oh, the burden of choice

Jasus

Oh well, Cocagne is also good. Time to emotionally devastate Simon with new friends and mentor who are actually good people, when they inevitably will fight against him in a future Reign.

Илья Маринин

I wanna see Simon eat a perk soon, and Mage seems like it would have good perks.

Sickul

I am thinking World of ruins--> Queen of crimson. Information is power and getting as much information as possible will help him plan accordingly.

Alibhai

Man, all of these look so interesting! I think either the Crimson queen or Cocagne affair makes the most sense at the moment though. Either rounding out the visionary stuff or finding out just what Norbelle knows and if she is likely to be a threat or ally seems prudent. As much as the world of ruin sounds interesting I think I makes more sense for Simon to come back to that one with a little bit more power under his belt.

Misatek

You got me at orgy. They are all great honestly but I feel like it would be good for Simon to either unlock his Visionnary talents or at least finish that goal of his.

CentaureHeart

I voted for cogaine affair because magic but both the casval and world of ruin sound fun as hell.

vVip3rzzz

I feel like we should start understanding how far and deep the cobweb extends so Simon can unravel this on future reigns

Aglovale Sempai

I think it also makes sense. It ties into this reign. He went to the church for answers, it makes sense he would follow up until he gets some.

Halfcrzy

My thinking is - the World of Ruins is very short, so we get it out of the way first and fast, we get a lot of action which means quite a bit of leveling up, and that means Simon will be better prepared for other reigns. Plus, intel on the juiciest mysteries at the moment.

Илья Маринин

Queen in Crimson makes the most sense at the moment. Simon needs to unlock his latent powers. This reign we are learning more about the visionaries and the light. It is logical that he should learn more about the dark and his own dark visionary powers.

Myrdin

High quality magical & manufactured goods, chemicals, textile, silverware ;)

Void Herald

A shame he consumed exp boost from vassal crest stone, not the noble ones

Touch

What’s Cocagne’s main export?

Nihilea

I’m really interested in unlocking the berserker crest stone, might show a more violent side of Simon we haven’t seen yet

NoxianReaper

Why can't I vote more than once?! Queen in Crimson, Casval Delenda Est and World of Ruins all sound soooo interesting....
