*Chapter 208: The God-Slayer Atreus (Part 3)*

Ares' body instinctively froze.

He saw Atreus pull out a spear, which looked no different from an ordinary soldier's spear.

It had a sharp silver spearhead, an X-shaped binding strap for reinforcement below it, and a simple, unremarkable shaft about two meters long.

The only issue was the aura it emitted—a disruptive force that nullified all divine power and dispelled magical elements.

Ares could even faintly see the blood of another powerful god on the spearhead.

No, this wasn’t just any god—it was someone on par with the king of the gods.

This astonishing achievement elevated the power of this seemingly ordinary spear.

*The God-Slaying Spear!*

“No, this is impossible,” Ares could hardly believe what he was seeing.

There couldn’t be that many coincidences in the world!

The only explanation was that this despicable human had planned everything against him from the beginning.

It’s said that the *God-Slayers* could slay gods because their power was the bane of the traditional divine laws.

The power of the God-Slayer could efficiently cancel out a god's power. But gods weren’t defenseless against God-Slayers. Even if a god had to exchange 100 points of power to counter 1 point of the God-Slayer's, if the god's absolute power was absurdly high, they could still overwhelm the God-Slayer.

After all, a God-Slayer wasn't a god, and their low status meant their base attributes weren’t high.

But a specialized god-slaying weapon was a different story.

A God-Slaying Spear that had killed an entity on par with a god-king had its power amplified by that god-king's strength.

Combined with the power of the God-Slayer, its lethality against gods was unimaginable, even to the gods themselves.

Even when the full force of his thunderbolt was reflected and his divine body was heavily damaged, Ares had not been this terrified.

A divine body could be repaired as long as there was enough divine power. To Ares, starting two more world wars would restore him.

But the destruction of the divine soul was a different matter entirely.

Ares’ face turned ashen, and cold sweat poured from his forehead.

His opponent had successfully deceived him once again.

By breaking down his opponent's mirror space, he had used his own spatial laws to stabilize the spatial rift and forcefully sealed it.

In the process, the threads of his laws had connected tightly with his opponent's space. While he controlled the space, for the same reason, he had no chance to escape to another space.

He was utterly shocked!

He was filled with fear!

It was as if instinctively, his eyes saw what was happening on another plane—within a pitch-black space, a crimson thread was swiftly stretching toward him.

Ares immediately understood what it was.

It was the destruction of fate about to descend upon him!

With a thought, a surge of immense power transformed into a light cannon, fiercely blasting forward. But the crimson streak in the air elegantly arced, bypassing the light cannon.

In the world of fate, this only meant one thing: his opponent’s control over the laws of fate surpassed his own. A lower authority had been overridden by a higher one.

Once this condition was met, no matter how bizarre the fate, the world would instantly accept it.

“No—!”

Ares resisted the fatal blow.

Facing the small spear that was about to pierce his forehead, he had one last chance.

If, if, if he could just crush the bald man holding the spear, without the God-Slayer, the spear would just be an ordinary weapon.

There was still one second before the spear would completely pierce his forehead. In that second, he could still swing his massive hand, the size of half a basketball, and clasp it together, squashing the despicable human like a mosquito.

But his last chance for survival was ruthlessly destroyed by two Amazonian women.

"Ha—!"

The two agile female figures transformed into golden meteors, colliding with Ares’ palm with a suicidal determination.

The radiant light from their divine weapons pierced through a meter of his thick skin, causing Ares’ hands to freeze momentarily.

Even a brief pause in Ares’ movement was enough.

In the next instant.

A radiant light, as brilliant as the rising sun, burst forth from Ares' forehead.

It was a magnificent strike, powered by the god-slaying force.

Lightning mixed with golden flames filled the sky, as if the elements of destruction had descended upon the ruins.

All anyone saw was a chaotic burst of energy swirling like fireworks, and then a small mushroom cloud blossomed on the Titan’s forehead.

Ares let out the final howl of his godly life. His head cracked open as he fell to the ground, and his colossal body carved a massive crater into the ruins of the castle.

It wasn’t just this area—at that moment, all of Belgium seemed to cry out in pain as Ares' divine power faded.

Dust quickly scattered as a spear's gleam cut through it, revealing a mighty figure standing on the mountain-like head of Ares.

Atreus raised the *Spear of Longinus* high!

This spear, which had once killed Jesus, now added a legendary name to its list—*Ares, the God of War!*

"Victory!"

"Yay! Yay!"

The two Amazonian women screamed in wild joy. With their immense strength, they pried open the huge fingers that had once crushed them and rushed into Atreus’s arms.

“Hahaha! He actually did it?” In the endless void, in a quiet corner of the Pantheon, a noble goddess was just as uncontrollably excited.

Had it not been for her divine grace, Athena would’ve danced around in delight like those two Amazonian women.

Nearby, before Diana could react, Ares’ enormous godly body began to shrink rapidly. Losing their foothold, they had no choice but to fall from a height equivalent to five stories.

None of the three were ordinary people.

Though a little disheveled, they landed steadily.

Looking at Ares’ corpse, Diana felt a mix of emotions.

She truly hated and even resented Ares. He had attacked Themyscira, started a terrible world war, and dragged the entire earth into the vortex of destruction and death.

But on the other hand, Ares was her brother.

Looking at the lifeless body, with even his divine soul fading, Diana couldn’t help but say, “Goodbye, brother.”

But instead of the complete dissipation of Ares’ soul she expected, a part of his soul, bearing his face, rose into the air and disintegrated. Meanwhile, the core of his divine body turned into a red light and shot into Atreus's chest.

“You…” Diana was stunned.
