Hundred Reigns on RR + HR news and map

I'm happy to announce that the Hundred Reigns is now available on Royal Road! Thank everyone who has supported the release so far, and if you haven't checked the story yet, you can do so now on RR!

So, what's the launch plan you might ask? Well, while I'm going to drop a few chaps from the backlog on RR during the launch, but I'm dedicated to keeping 30 chapters for patrons; I might expand that backlog later after launch depending on how it goes.
Afterwards, I'll probably align the Patreon and RR releases to a stabler schedule, hopefully three/four chapters a week if I can manage with my work on the Perfect Run game and Board & Conquest. I've been able to consistently produce four/five chapters of HR so far but I don't want to overpromise.
Otherwise, a few of you asked for a map of the setting, so here's a rough, relatively spoiler-free version. The setting was heavily inspired by Geekluminati's unified Ivalice/Tactics Ogre project (you can feel the influence of both settings in Hundred Reigns alongside a few others) if you're into that kind of stuff.
But basically, everything not named Valne, Lore, Cocagne, Muse, Illusea or Sanctuary is either an Endymion province or tributary ;) their reach is vast.

Cocagne is a human magocracy, albeit with a large goblinoid underclass. It's a queendom because the queens traditionally inherit the extremely powerful Mage Crestone while their consorts get another, less prestigious Noble Class ;)

2025-11-10 11:47:00 +0000 UTCThough now, I seriously understand why all the nations are jumping to intervene in the Imperial Civil War the moment they see a good chance House Magnos will do most of the job for them. The conquests of Balzam have really, really put them into a corner. Even with no further military aggression from the Empire, a marriage alliance with Cocagne is probably enough to finish all thoughts of conventional resistance. The rest of the free world allying against that Imperial juggernaut may not be enough on its own.
