Commerce Emperor 2 Launch + Gunsoul Poll!

Hello everyone!

Double news today! First of all, the second volume of Commerce Emperor (following the civil war arc all the way to the final battle with Belgoroth) has now launched on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited! As usual, I would like to thank you all for supporting this book during its creation.

Like always, I would appreciate any review on Amazon or anyone's help in spreading word of the launch, especially since the first volume didn't sell all that well and the next book will be the trilogy's last. Any shout-out or the like is welcome.

Otherwise, I'm likely going to focus on Gunsoul in the following weeks over DW, as I would like to publish one or the other on RR in the near future and thus build-up a backlog of at least 30 chapters before I do so.

The next arc will focus on a sect war in Fleshmarket between the organic-supremacists of the Flesh Mansion Sect (a slaver's guild) and the techno-transhumanist Metallists (a group of cyber cultivators). Yuan could join either side... or wreck them both.

Hence, it's time to choose which group Yuan will support in the following arc... if any. This will both determine which Gun subpath (Sniper, Gatling, or Bullet Hell) Yuan will follow and earn him a specific benefit, so choose wisely.

Infiltrate the Flesh Mansion Sect: many have tried to break the slavers' stronghold on the Fanged Coast by force, and all have failed. The Yinyang Khan's army has resisted all attempts to topple it from the outside, but a clever infiltrator could destroy the slave guild from the inside... and maybe steal a cure for Holster's Human Pillar curse from the very people who inflicted it.

Rewards: Sniper Path, cure for Holster's Human Pillar condition.

Join the Metallists and become steel: the Metallists disregard flesh and seek to improve it with machinery. Sure, they're allied with ever-expanding Screen Cities and wish to cover the world in steelskin, but is transhumanism really bad? They do want to uplift Scraps, or so they say. Slash would be no match for a Gunsoul with a perfect machine body...

Rewards: Gatling Path, cybernetic enhancements.

Stay independent and wreck both sides: doesn't matter which Path they follow, Sects cultivators are all assholes; why let one overlord replace another when you could wipe the state clean? A true gunslinger stands on his own feet and dances the bullet dance to the bitter end. Let see if these sects can survive the Bullet Hell... or all of Fleshmarket, for that matter.

Rewards: Bullet Hell Path, gain a Gunsoul mentor.

And that's all for today! I'll be publishing a DW chapter tomorrow and then a B&F Saturday.

Best regards,

Voidy.

Voted for independence, but lots of lying and curing Holster sounded dope too.

Doctor Zero

Well, if you want civilization to survive the war; third option will be the one most devastating for Fleshmarket's region.

Void Herald

I feel like this is a rhetorical question. I mean in what world is wrecking them both not the most desired outcome?

MasterofNova

Gonna stay independent and get a mentor esp when he got a big train and he is weak.

Pradian

Fair enough. My choice is probably influenced by what I'm reading right now. It gets dark fast...

Joel Magnuson

Mind you, it's infiltrating the organization to take it down from within ;) the slavers will very much regret hiring Yuan if that choice is picked.

Void Herald

I'm 49% flesh crew 51% independent. I really want a cure for holster, but working with slavers even as a infiltrater does not sit well with me.
