Greetings to the best PlayStation trio! Quick question, why did PlayStation choose to announce and show Horizon Hunters Gathering last week with a hefty State of Play on the 12th? Why not include it in the slate of games and announcements there? Just thought it was odd to seemingly go a week early when they already had a prime spot coming up to show it off. As a brief side note to all the conversation around live service and Roblox, my 14 year old son was captured by these games. I always tried to show him other options but he just jumped into Fornite night after night. Last week he approached me and asked if he could play Skyrim. I immediately downloaded it to the PS5 and he’s been engaged and excited ever since with no Roblox tainting the screen. We can create better taste in the next generation, just stay strong LSM crew! This is NOT the time to stand down. Best wishes to you all, Godspeed James from Colorado

Colin when is the Alyssa Mercante sacred+ episode happening? You mentioned it two episodes ago and has yet to materialize, hopefully it’s still on the docket looking forward to it.

Greetings CDC. Just last evening, I received an email from PlayStation requesting feedback on Horizon Hunters Gathering. I found this highly unusual, given the only thing released about this game is a trailer. The survey asked standard questions about what aspects I found interesting from the trailer. What do you all make of this? Is Sony feeling the heat, and trying to avoid another live service fault? Do you think they will be receptive to feedback? I’ll hang up and listen.

Hey gents, Not the most interesting question but are we going to get a spoiler cast for fallout season 2? It maybe didn’t reach quite the highs of season 1 but still a very well made season of television. Curious to hear the crew’s thoughts.

Hey DCC, That's right, Dustin's name is first. Many have said that this generation of Playstation is without an identity and I am one that agrees. It has been disappointing but it hasn't been without great games. Im not one of those that are asking where the game are. Thay said, what do you see as the identities of the previous generations of Playstation? Thanks and always slay that chicken and fry him up.

Hi guys! This is mainly directed at Chris, but the rest of you are welcome to chime in. I’ve been thinking about Jak II. It’s one of my core childhood memories. I was about 15 when I played it, and it was one of the first truly ambitious games where I actually finished every single quest and task. Chris, I’d love for you to give it a shot, especially since it’s such a massive departure from the first game. I revisited Colin’s IGN article on the history of Naughty Dog last year, and it’s incredible how much they pushed themselves with this title. Apparently they were primarily inspired by GTA. You can really see how that ambition shaped the studio into what it is today. However, a fair warning... Jak II is occasionally difficult in a way that feels unnecessary. Get ready to question your life choices during certain missions!

Hey Gents, So, a level designer at Wildlight said that "most of the team" was laid off. Which begs the question: what did Wildlight need Highguard to be in order to be successful? Is this another example of company bloat? Or is this a developer that genuinely believed in their game and thought they could maintain all of their employees? But when I hear "most of the team" that leads me to believe that if this wasn't a mega-hit, there was no way this team could survive.

Hey Sacred Smut Lovers, I’m issuing a cordial, but firm, Stand Down to Colin about the romantasy slander. My lovely wife read over 40 books last year and if you could believe it, she did not read Crime and Punishment 40 times. Were the majority of her books just romantasy smut? Yes. Do I tease her about it? Of course I do. But Colin, don’t be too quick to dismiss the smut girlies. There are benefits that can translate into your relationship. I’m happy my wife read Fahrenheit 451 last year, but I was far happier when she was reading the nonsensical troll romance novel, Tusk Love. Which one do you think caused her to seize me and go full Kratos by pressing circle? I fully embrace my position as being the receiving end of the smut. Fools mock, but I see the truth. Anyways, take care and have a lovely day!

Greetings, I had a dream last night that Ken Levine hand delivered 10 laptops to 2K in black suitcases; each loaded with a final copy of Judas. I can only assume this is a premonition and Judas will be dated at the State of Play. Colin, you’re welcome.

Boy fellas you caused quite a stir with your remarks on the new Fortnite x Horizon crossover. Jokes aside, I do want to say something that is a bit negative but hear me out, it's a long one but Id like to hear your response. You guys kinda suck at separating online rage bait hate with genuine criticism, especially Colin post TLOU2 fiasco way back when. I bring up TLOU2 because I've never once heard Colin actually address the legitimate criticism of TLOU2 (even when Micah of all people is the one dishing that criticism out) and it's happened a lot since then, whether it's calling people you disagree with tourists or painting everyone who doesn't like ugly character designs as grifters it never feels like you actually engage with the criticism the LSM audience presents. Maybe try looking at genuine criticism that isn't a well known grifter like Grummz or JT Smash? When I seen the Horizon game I immediately knew Colin was going to dismiss any and all criticism. Colin, you'll scream and cry to the heavens when Bluepoint is put onto a live service game they're not suited for, thus wasting time and effort but you'll somehow, seemingly out of nowhere, find interest for a Horizon Fortnite live service knock off. Not only is it in a genre you don't care for, but actively takes development time away from Horizon 3, somehow that's defensible and people are just being hater tourists if they dislike it. How can this be? Just my two cents, Id like if you'd all be less instantly dismissive and dive into specific topics in greater detail, for both criticism and praise. PS Dustin comparing studio game development that requires years of resources to a restaurant offering another menu, was so unfathomably inapplicable it would make CJSmash blush.
