One of the write-ins reminded me of a similar message I once sent into the show. I ended up working two jobs to save money, damn near hospitalized myself from the strain of it all, but I put myself on a path towards a different career route. It's brutal, and not in the least bit acceptable in this day in age, but I don't know how else to go about it. Just got to make a change, somehow, someway.

2025-12-02 22:17:42 +0000 UTCI highly agree with Colin on the YouTube thing as a fun side project. I'm a father of two young kids and work for 8-9 hours a day in IT. I'm still able to play games and have two podcasts, a YouTube channel, and a blog for text stuff. If I can do it, you can as well. I couldn't do an all-in on YouTube - I cannot imagine thinking social media could provide me with a responsible adult income. No way. While the fun and passion approach makes it much more... fun :)
