Hey Dukes! With the recent Valve hardware announcement, what is the vibe check for the next Xbox? Besides legacy users, the Xbox branding, and Game Pass (whose value is now more questionable), they are being surpassed by Steam in terms of similar products, time to market, OS, and brand trust. If the next Xbox doesn't offer access to people's existing Xbox libraries and doesn't improve the OS to reduce the need for Windows tweaking and twerking, I question how it will be able to compete in the market, especially if priced as we anticipate. Satya Nadella may have his dream of being a full software company! Have a great rest of your week, Dukes! John Hanke I hope you have a "It's already dark out, leaving the office kind of day".

2025-11-12 19:22:56 +0000 UTCHey dukes! So with valve basically announcing Xbox magnus before Xbox could how are we feeling? What do you think is the plan from Microsoft now? Do you think there will be a future for Xbox in the hardware space, even if it is not a traditional console or pc and maybe just handhelds and peripherals? How does this affect PlayStation (if you donβt mind sharing a little insight). This feels like the biggest gaming news in my 17 years of gaming and I have no idea how to react. Peace and blessings!
