Good afternoon Solid Snake Stranglers, With all the hype surrounding the Snake Eater remake, I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to experience MGS for the first time. But rumors of poor optimization in the remake led me to a vastly superior version of the game instead — of course, I’m referring to MGS: Snake Eater 3D, the legendary 3DS port. That’s right, I got to experience Eva’s Alleghany Hogs in three glorious stereoscopic dimensions and a crisp 15fps. All jokes aside I was impressed by how good this port was considering just how awful any sane person might expect it to be. Despite an occasionally infuriating control scheme (c-stick aiming combined with an abysmal frame rate led to some frustrating action sequences, particularly in the final act), I still managed to have a really good time with the game. It didn’t exactly live up to its colossal reputation but I liked it enough that I plan on revisiting a less shitty version someday. Once I found out such a ridiculous port existed, I simply had to see it for myself as a 3DS fanatic. I have no ragrets, and I plan on doubling down by experiencing Xenoblade Chronicles for the first time on this magical machine. My question for you 3D slimy snake-eating sluts: Have you experienced any of these 3DS ports that have absolutely no right to exist? Can you recommend any besides the aforementioned Snake Eater and Xenoblade? Stay in a dream, Snake-Beaters.

2025-10-13 17:06:05 +0000 UTCHey PU Crew, What's everyone's go to dish or meal if you're trying to impress someone? Whether it's cooking for a new partner for the first time or just hosting guests, what are you busting out to show off those skills in the kitchen? I'm especially curious what meal Micah made Colin that you think really surprised him of your cooking ability? Gene/Brad, have you ever cooked for someone and did everything go as planned? Thanks for all that you do! PS: please check out the Rogue Prince of Persia if you're a fan of Dead Cells at all. It's out now on PS, PC, and Xbox and coming to Switch 2 later this year.

2025-10-13 16:25:42 +0000 UTCGood day to my favorite LSM trio! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the canceled Assassin’s Creed game set in post-Civil War America. I want to push back against a couple of talking points going around. First, that this would be too controversial considering the political climate. How so? Anyone getting upset over fighting against seething racists in a video game is self-reporting, and I doubt there are actually that many who would be upset. Reminding people that racism is bad is a good thing. See Wolfenstein. Also, I disagree with the idea that Ubisoft are not the people to write that story. We don’t need a nuanced story, we don’t need to be shown that former slavers are people too and that “it’s complicated”. No. They are comically evil and should be written as such. Ubisoft are, in fact, the perfect people to make that game. Thoughts?

2025-10-13 09:28:23 +0000 UTCHello to my favorite gooners and Brad, I finally bit the bullet and grabbed a Switch 2. I’ve been having an absolute blast with Donkey Kong Bonanza, it’s some of the most unadulterated fun I’ve had in gaming in quite a while. Are there any games you’d like to see Nintendo give this kind of revamped treatment to? For example, I’d love to see a Fire Emblem in the style of something like the Tales franchise. Thanks and keep smashing your way to the core!
