Sacred Symbols+, Episode 475 | Mafia: The Old Country Review Discussion and Spoilercast

It's me, Colin. Please help me in welcoming Chris Ray Gun and Lockmort back to Sacred+ for a host permutation (as far as we can tell) that's never been achieved... until now! We gather for a deep-dive into Hangar 13's recent release, the fourth Mafia adventure subtitled The Old Country. Taking place in Sicily during the first decade of the 20th century, this newest project rewinds the series to an earlier time (and outside of the United States), giving us a precious glimpse into the forbearers of the criminals we'd come to know (and perhaps even love). At a brisk 12-to-14 hours, linear within the confines of a small open world, and with high quality writing and performances, there's a lot to love about Take Two's newest exploration of the vaunted $50 price point. And there are some complaints to be had too, sure. So let's get into it -- spoilers and all! -- and learn about the trials and tribulations of our protagonist Enzo, and his fateful encounter with the Torrisi family.

Did Lockmort say Italy is not humid?? It is obviously not the most humid place in the world but it is no means a place I would consider not humid. We went on October and it was very noticeable. The summer must be brutal.

Gameplay is the most important part of any game. The gameplay is nothing special so the reviews are nothing special. It’s simple. We shouldn’t be reviewing games well just because they would make good movies.

One of the small details in this game is when you don't kill any of the guards, the priest will notice that and speak on how you spare their life
