An extraction shooter that will be sold for a mid-range price ($40 seems to be the going guess), reactions to the project have been mixed. Does a large market for a game like this exist? Is the cost of entry too prohibitive? Is it DOA like Concord? Honestly, we feel like a lot of people are overreacting one way or another, but one thing's for sure: For some, any payment is too much. Speaking of cash-money, prices for PlayStation 5 hardware and/or PS+ subscriptions alike are going up in various parts of the world, including Europe, Australia, and Canada. Is Sony trying to inoculate itself from American tariff threats by exploiting safer markets? Or are global currencies and economies really doing that poorly? Amongst other news comes, of course, listener inquiries. As Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 draws ever-nearer, what's our collective gut-check? Could rumors of a Prototype 3 actually be real? It’s only video games where people think it’s toxic to say you should play a story driven series in release order to really get it. Never heard anyone say it‘a cool to read Return of the King before at least Fellowship or Two towers, but for whatever reason, it somehow shouldn’t matter for video games. Sort it out, Dustin. Yes, I understand the irony of my comment. Yes, I’m a gatekeeper and maybe a little toxic, but I’m proud of it (and not all that serious, because who ACTUALLY cares about this stuff?).

I personally would like things to stay as they are currently structured, but I understand wanting to bunch up the news together. However, please don’t get rid of the longer write ups. It’s one of the things that makes you guys stand out, sparks discussion, and it’s one of my favorite segments. I’m sure the write ups would be missed.

In 2010, $80USD = $80CAD. Our wages have increased roughly the same amount as in the US, but everything in our country now costs 45% more than in US, in real wages. Thats why we bitch about it; not because we don't understand that larger numbers are psychologically affecting our perception of value, but because everything now costs a larger % of our wage.

I’m going to keep thinks respectful but it clearly shows Chris tries to play things off like he’s being balanced but he clearly doesn’t like Asmongold at all. How do I know? Because what Asmongold actually said was clearly misrepresented on purpose (or he just saw a headline and didn’t watch the clip). What he said was, mostly men are going to be playing shooters and yes he said just make the characters “fuckable” - then he says right after “clearly that’s what people want” and goes on to explain his point of view is coming from the success of Marvel Rivals (ironically which Chris then talks about how he thinks a character is hot - it’s almost like it’s ok if he thinks gaming characters are hot, but if anyone else talks about them, they are gooner). He also goes on to explain that women cosplay these characters too and NONE of them cosplay unattractive or ugly characters, which is 100 percent true. Hell, a lot of these cosplayers take things that aren’t sexual at all and make them sexual (which actually annoys me). But he was speaking from a marketing standpoint that games like Marvel Rivals sell. I wasn’t a fan of Asmongold before because all I ever heard was he’s disgusting and a bigot etc, then I actually listened to some of his videos and he comes across as a perfectly normal person. At least from what I saw, he isn’t out there threatening and stalking people like Alyssa Mercante, who for some unknown reason, has been defended on this podcast. Just sorta rubbed me the wrong way given the talk of toxicity lately, yet Asmongold gets shit on for a pretty tame comment, and one that wasn’t even represented accurately. Maybe try to get him as a guest on the show? Might be a cool guest for Colin. I bet they would agree on a lot

I know you were shitting on chirps a few months ago but dude you’ve gotta just get your low back adjusted and you’ll feel so much better. Physical therapy is a waste of time. They’re going to give you simple core exercises that you can just learn on YouTube in 5 minutes. All you’ve gotta do is a couple sets of planks and bird dogs twice a day and get adjusted by a GOOD chiropractor, ideally a Motion Palpation Institute trained chiropractor. My dad’s a chiropractor and I’ve heard from so many people how much he helped them get out of pain and avoid surgeries. It works. You’ve just gotta be careful. There are a ton of really bad chiropractors out there. Find a good one through the motion palpation institute website. Please do yourself a favor and go to the damn chiropractor.

I don’t play multiplayer games but when I saw helldivers I was atleast interested and ended up playing for a few months. I’m playing through cyberpunk 2077 (incredible game btw ) and to me the art style of marathon came off as a weak rip off. Gameplay looked generic and boring to me. Even if this was single player it still would not have moved me with that that knock off art style and bland looking gameplay. This is the studio that was in charge of giving the Naughty Gods advice ……………? Just lol 😂 give me a fucking break they can’t even make thier own compelling game. Get these fucking clowns out of my presence at once 😭😂
